This recall involves all Honeywell System Sounder L-series Low Frequency Sounders, Sounder Strobes, and Compact Sounders. The sounder and strobes are square, with white and red plastic housings, listed for wall mounting and measure about 5.6 by 4.7 inches for the sounders and strobes and about 5.3 by 3.5 inches for the compact sounder. The model number, date codes and "System Sensor" are printed on the product label and carton. This recall involves Kidde TruSense Smoke Alarms and Combination Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarms. The recalled units are Kidde Model Series 2040, 2050, 2060 and 2070 Smoke and Combination Smoke/Carbon Monoxide alarms. June 17, 2020 Edwards Recalls Mechanical Heat Detectors Due to Failure to Alert to Fire

This recall involves mechanical heat detectors used indoors to detect elevated temperatures as part of professionally installed fire detection systems for residential homes and businesses. In residential settings, this product is installed in kitchens, attics and garages for property protection. The recalled heat detectors do not detect smoke or make an audible sound, but rather act as sensors that trigger fire alarms or security panels when elevated heat is detected. The heat detectors can be mounted to walls or ceilings and are labeled with "135F" and "NOT A LIFE SAFETY DEVICE." This recall involves Kidde NightHawk talking combo smoke/CO alarm with model number KN-COSM-IB and manufacture dates between June 1, 2004 and December 31, 2010. The alarms are hard-wired into a home's electric power. The unit has a compartment on the back for the installation of a replaceable 9V backup battery. This recall involves Sure Signal Products heat-activated fire alarms sold under the following brand names and models: DeTech FST2004H, MasterGuard QR50, Responsive TR70-R and Thermalink QR50. They are white, round and measure about 7 inches in diameter. The alarms have a round fuse at the center. The fuse is white or chrome and about 1.5 inches in diameter, and has a temperature rating of 117°F or 136°F. The alarms were manufactured from January 1, 2004 through July 1, 2015. Date codes are listed in a YYDDD format and range from 04001 through 15182. The alarm's model is printed on a label on the back of the alarm.
