April 18, 2007 Tequila Rose Distilling Co. Recalls Gel Candles Due To Fire and Burn Hazards

The recalled gel candles came in the Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream set, a Valentine's Day gift set. The candle has pink gel and is contained in a martini glass. The words "Tequila Rose" and "Made in China" are printed on the glass. The gift set also includes a 750 milliliters bottle of Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream liqueur. Read more.


April 12, 2007 Flat Panel TV Tilt-Mount Brackets Recalled by Circuit City Stores Inc. Due to Risk of Falling Units

The recalled tilt-mount brackets for flat panel televisions are sold under Circuit City's private label, "Verge." The two model numbers involved in this recall are VPSW103M and VPSW103M2. "Verge" and the model numbers are written on the packaging. There is no writing on the brackets. The brackets were sold individually and through an installation package. Read more.


April 5, 2007 Aviv Judaica Imports and Ahron's Judaica Recall Chanukah Candles Due To Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves both the 44 count and the 36 count of Chanukah Oil Candles. The packaging is a red box with the following printed on it: "Chanukah Oil Candles With Jelled Extra Virgin Olive Oil" and "Distributed by Ahron's Judaica Item # OCCL-25/44." Read more.

February 22, 2007 Gel Candles Recalled By M & A Global Technologies Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves Everlasting Jelly candles. Models include Champagne Glass with Heart, Model #502; Large Oval Bowl with Sand & Shells, Model #109-XL; Tumbler with Sand & Shells, Model #101-S; Round Shape with Curly Top and Red Roses, Model #506; Round Shape with Penguins, Model #604; Tumbler with Blue Roses & Leaves, Model #805-11; and Round Shape with Two Butterflies, Model #806-8. The candles were sold in clear glass containers of various sizes with a smaller glass of gel in the middle of the candle. Read more.


February 16, 2007 Currey & Company Recalls Lamps Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves Thomasville table and floor lamps in the Felicity Collection. The recalled table lamps include model numbers starting with 60001 and ending with 1006, 1007, 1008, 1009, 1010, 1011, 1012, 1013, 1014, 1015, 1018, 1019 and 1020. The floor lamps include model numbers starting with 60001 and ending with 1016 or 1017. The model number is printed on the packaging and on the bottom of the lamp base. Read more.


February 1, 2007 IKEA Recalls Vases Due to Laceration Hazard

The recalled vases have thick black, white or clear glass walls. They stand about 28 inches high and weigh about 11 pounds. The base diameter is about 6 inches and the top diameter is about 9 inches. The IKEA logo and one of three article numbers are printed on the underside of the base. The article numbers are 201-102-34 (black), 501-121-99 (white) and 000-795-45 (clear). Read more.

This recall involves all electric oil lamps sold by Hong Teng Trading. The packaging states, "LJY" and "Made in China". The white switch on the cord has writing on the back that reads, "TIAO GUANG" and HENG CHANG." They were sold in four styles and various colors. Read more.


January 30, 2007 Old Williamsburgh Candle Corp. Recalls Mason Jar Candles Due To Laceration and Burn Hazard

This recall involves all scents and colors of Mason Jar Candles in 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 oz. sizes. The size of the candle is specified on the label at the bottom of the jar, on the last line of the label. Replacement Mason Jar Candles, which are not included in the recall, have a "Q" on either side of the label. Read more.
