Recalls: Furniture and Furnishings and Decorations
The recalled ballast is used to dim compact fluorescent lighting fixtures. The ballasts are not visible once installed. The ballasts were included with light fixtures sold under numerous brand names. Consumers should not touch these fixtures, since they could pose a shock hazard. The fixtures with these ballasts have a 120 VAC application, the fixture housing is for a 26W or 32W four-pin plug-in compact fluorescent lamp installed after July 1998. Most of the lights were sold for commercial use, though some were sold for consumer use. This recall involves Toulon potted candles that were sold individually and as a set. The larger, citronella-scented single candles were sold in cream, green and terracotta. Candles sold as a set include four smaller candles with cream or green pots and were sold in citronella and unscented. Item numbers involved in the recall are AW058 (single) and AW057 (set). The recalled chairs and bar stools were sold under the model name Frameworx. The models affected are short table height chair model number 53-861025-000 and tall bar stool model number 57-860979-000. The model name and model numbers are not written on the chairs. The model number is only written on the original shipping carton, packing list or invoice. The chairs and bar stools have a plastic bucket-style seat bolted to a steel seat plate assembly that connects to the down tube of the seat. Read more.
The recall involves the Mars Lightning 7001 dome electroplasma lamp, which simulates lightning bolts inside. It has a glass dome glued to a black base. Writing under the base includes the SKU number of 00473421, "MARS LIGHTNING7001" and "LIGHTNING 2000." Read more.
