The recall includes 50-count multi-color mini light sets, 100-count blue mini light sets, and 140-count chasing light sets. "Mini Light Set" or "Chasing Light Set" is written on the packaging. The 100-count light sets have UL number E254698 or E182192, or there is no UL number written on the tag attached to the light string. The 50-count light sets have UL number E254698 or E182192, or no UL number. The chasing light sets have UL number E254698 or there is no UL number written on the tag. Read more.


August 18, 2005 Whittier Wood Products Recall of Pub Stools

The stool is marketed under the brand name of GardenWood Furniture. The recalled pub stools include the Chelsea Pub Stools model numbers 986W and 986KFRS as indicated on the outside of the box.. Both stools are constructed with wood legs, seats, and back-rests. Seat height is 30 inches and was sold both unfinished (W) as well as in a clear, penetrating oil finish (KFRS). Units with Lot code #06222005 are not affected by this recall. Read more.


June 24, 2005 Target Corp. Recall of Birch/Bark Candles

The recalled candles were sold individually wrapped in a ribbon on a plate. This recall also includes candles sold in boxed sets of three candles under the Restore & Restyle brand. The candles are cream in color and were sold in sizes 3-by-3 inches, 3-by-6 inches, 4-by-6 inches and 6-by-6 inches. Read more.


April 20, 2005 Global Gift Industries Recall of Martha Stewart Everyday Brand Flowerpot Candle Sets Sold Exclusively at Kmart

These scented, flowerpot-shaped candles are about 2.5-inches high and have a sand coating. They were sold in two different four-piece sets. One set containing three candles of different shades of green and one ivory candle with code number KMS8428 and UPC number 7 50197 88428 9. The other set contains a blue, white, orange and cream colored candle with code number KMS8427 and UPC number 7 50197 88427 2. The code numbers and UPC can be found in the white box on the bottom of the packaging. Other writing on the packaging includes, "MARTH STEWART everyday" and "sunny meadow." Read more.


April 6, 2005 L.L. Bean Inc. Recall of Director's Chairs, Replacement Seats

The recalled director's chair is a folding chair with a solid natural-colored wood frame. They have cotton duck fabric seats and backs in navy, red, green and natural colors. The seats are padded and unpadded, and replacement padded seats were sold separately. The director's chair measures 34-inches-high, 24-inches-wide and 19-inches-deep with an 18-inch seat height. The replacement padded seats are navy red, green and natural canvas. The recalled director's chair includes models XS78 and VU67and the recalled replacement seat includes model XS79, which can be found on the label underneath the seat. Read more.

The rope candle is a 20-foot coiled beeswax candle that feeds up to a scissors like clamp. The candle is lit above the clamp. The candle has an antique copper finish. It was sold under the name "Self-extinguishing Rope Candle." Read more.


March 28, 2005 Nature's Finest Recall of Gel Candles

The gel candles come in a glass container in either 5.5-oz or 11-oz. sizes. They were sold in multiple colors and scents. There is a label on the front of the candle reading "Nature's Finest Candles." The UPC codes of the recalled candles, located on a sticker on the bottom of the candles, are 3863300100 through 3863300114 and 3863300200 through 3863300214. This recall includes only Nature's Finest gel candles. Other Nature's Finest candles are not involved in this recall. Read more.


March 14, 2005 Skylighter Inc. Recall of Musical Flower Birthday Candleholders

The candleholder is shaped like a lotus flower. It is plastic and consists of eight small candles that are ignited by a center flame. The small candles open up to resemble a flower blooming. There is a battery inside the center candle that allows it to play the music to "Happy Birthday". Read more.


March 8, 2005 Lithonia Lighting Recall of Indoor HID Light Fixtures

These are Indoor HID light fixtures with acrylic lenses and/or reflectors. They are generally used in industrial and commercial locations such as retail spaces, warehouses, and gymnasiums. Only certain models of specific wattage lights are included in the recall. Check the Lithonia Web site for a list of the specific model and wattage combinations included. All recalled fixtures were manufactured in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and have a date of manufacture from November 2002 through October 2003. The models, wattages, city and date of manufacture, and “Lithonia” can be found on a label attached to the ballast housing. This recall also includes certain ballast repair kits. Read more.
