February 19, 2020 Contigo Reannounces Recall of 5.7 Million Kids Water Bottles Due to Choking Hazard; Additional Incidents with Replacement Lids Provided in Previous Recall

This recall involves Contigo Kids Cleanable water bottles and replacement lids that were given to consumers as part of the August 2019 recall of this product. The base and cover of the clear silicone spout will always be BLACK. Only black colored spout base and spout cover models are included in this recall. Contigo is printed on the rim and along the front near the bottom of the bottle. The water bottles come in three sizes (13 ounce, 14 ounce and 20 ounce) and four colors (solid color, graphics, stainless steel and stainless steel solid colors). February 6, 2020 Sun Organic Recalls Wintergreen Essential Oils Due to Failure to Meet Child Resistant Packaging Requirements; Risk of Poisoning

This recall includes all 2-, 4-, 8-, and 16-fluid-ounce amber glass bottles of Sun Essential Oils, Wintergreen sold prior to April 12, 2019. The label on each bottle displays the Sun Essential Oils logo, an image of an American Wintergreen plant, states "Wintergreen," and lists the size of the container. Read more.


January 9, 2020 Boston Warehouse Trading Corp. Recalls Holiday Travel Mugs Due to Fire Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Meijer Stores

This recall involves Holiday Travel mugs with lids. They have a decal with "Let it Snow" or "Merry and Bright" in gold metallic lettering. The bottom portion of the mugs is red or green and the top half portion is white. The lids are black. They measure 7 inches tall. "Microwave safe" is written on the backstamp under the glaze and on the wrap band. Read more.


August 23, 2017 Nutrilife Recalls Bottles of Hydrogen Peroxide Due to Fire, Burn Hazards

This recall involves Nutrilife Plant Products one-gallon/four-liter bottles of hydrogen peroxide (H202) liquid 29% oxidizer which is used as a source of oxygen for water, a preservative for fresh cut flowers, and to keep unwanted nutrient residuals clear in reservoirs, drippers and dripper lines. The plastic bottles are white with a blue/green label with a handle at the top. The Nutrilife logo, H202, Liquid 29% Oxidizer and "An Oxygen Source for Water" are printed on the front label. March 30, 2017 humangear Recalls Bottle Caps Due to Burn Hazard

This recall involves humangear's capCAP accessory bottle cap. The capCAPs were sold in green/gray, blue/gray, black/gray and black/black color combinations for standard wide-mouth stainless steel bottles and in black/gray for glass mason jars. humangear is stamped on the top of the capCAP. Only caps with model numbers HG0501, HG0502, HG0505, HG0505-DSG and HG0515 printed above the UPC code on the package are included in the recall. The recalled capCAP has a silicone seal, a rubber coating on the large cap, and a tab/slot feature on the strap This recall only includes the newer version of capCAPs sold between November 2016 and February 2017. February 21, 2017 SodaStream Recalls Carbonating Bottles Due to Injury Hazard

This recall involves SodaStream one liter, blue tinted, plastic carbonating bottles. "SodaStream" and "Dishwasher safe" are printed on the recalled bottles. Only bottles with an expiration date of "4/2020" printed on the warning label are included in the recall. The recalled bottles have a blue cap and blue bottom base. Read more.


October 28, 2015 Pottery Barn Kids Recalls Avengers and Darth Vader Water Bottles Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard

This recall involves Avengers and Darth Vader themed stainless steel water bottles with images of Thor, The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man on one and an image of Darth Vader and the Death Star on the other style. The water bottles are gray with a blue or black plastic top, a vacuum-valve stopper and are 5 ½ inches tall by 2 ¾ inches in diameter. SKU number 7939721 (Avengers) or 7939721 (Darth Vader) is printed on the price sticker affixed to the bottom of the bottle, along with one of the following date codes: 12/2013, 8/2014 or 12/2014. A tracking label imprinted on the underside of the bottle contains the date code printed along with the words, "Pottery Barn Kids," "LOT 1, BATCH 1" and "JINHUA, CHINA." Read more.


September 17, 2015 Zak Designs Recalls Water Bottles Due to Choking Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Target Stores

The recall involves Zak Designs 26-ounce plastic water bottles. The 10-inch-tall water bottles have a flip-top spout on a twist-off cap with colored inner plastic straws in clear, blue, gray, green, light purple or red. The water bottles were sold exclusively at Target stores in a "Back-to-College" promotion. The water bottles have popular characters on the front and come in a variety of colors including clear, gray, navy blue, pink, teal blue, gray with colored caps in red, blue pink and yellow. Characters include Captain America, a Batman design, Minions, My Little Pony, Spiderman, Star Wars aircraft, a Superman logo, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Thor and Wonder Woman. Mold number "14158" and "Zak Designs®" are embossed on the bottom of the bottles in the recall. Bottles with a black inner straw and black twist-off cap are not included in the recall. Read more.


June 11, 2015 Walgreens Vitamins Recalled by International Vitamin Due to Failure to Meet Child-Resistant Closure Requirement

This recall involves "Well at Walgreens" Multivitamin Women 50+ tablets. The white plastic bottles contain 200 multivitamin tablets. "Well at Walgreens Multivitamin Women 50+" is printed on the bottle's white and silver label. A yellow band at the top of the label states "Value Size." UPC number 3-11917-17262-0 and one of the following lot numbers 000001 (EXP 9/2016), 000002 (EXP 12/2016) or 000003 (EXP 11/2016) are printed on the back of the bottles on a white label. Read more.
