Recalls: Nonglass Bottles or Jars

The four recalled children's water bottles have popular cartoon characters on a hard-sided plastic bottle. Characters and bottle colors include Dora the Explorer®, violet; Hello Kitty®, pink; SpongeBob Square Pants®, blue; and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles®, green. The bottles stand 6 inches tall, hold 15 ounces of liquid, have white lids that screw off and have fold-up straws and filters that sit inside the straw below the lid. Each bottle bears a Brita logo and features the image of a popular children's cartoon character. The removable plastic wrap on the bottle at time of purchase has the model number BB07 and the following UPC codes: 60258-35883 on the Dora the Explorer, 60258-35914 on the Hello Kitty, 60258-35880 on the SpongeBob Square Pants and 60258-35882 on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This recall includes previously recalled 16 oz. plastic water bottles that came in pink with a crackle design or blue. The bottles have flip-top lids in coordinated pink and blue colors. "H&M Sweden," www.hm.com and a date clock with the manufacture date are embossed on the bottom of the bottle. The recalled products were manufactured in June 2012. The inner circle on the date clock stamp contains the number 12 with an arrow between the two numbers. The arrow points at the number 6 in an outer circle of numbers. Read more.

The recall involves the One Handed Jar Lifter. The jar lifter is a pair of tongs designed for lifting canning jars out of boiling water. The lifter is red with white handles. It is made of plastic and metal with a nylon coating.

This recall only involves the following four products with the noted lot numbers: GNC Women’s Ultra Mega 28-count multivitamin bottles with lot numbers 0432AL1781 and 1283CL1781, GNC Women’s Ultra Mega Active 180-count multivitamin bottles with lot numbers 1029BL1783 and 1030BL1783, GNC Women’s Ultra Mega Energy and Metabolism 90-count multivitamin bottles with lot number 1450CL1789 and GNC Prenatal Formula with Iron 120-count multivitamin bottles with lot number 0785BL2863. The lot numbers are printed on the side of the bottle and on the bottom of the product’s packaging. The affected lots are packaged in a white plastic bottle with a white label and a flip-top cap. The recalled supplements were sold in white plastic bottles. "Live Better Complete Multivitamin One Daily Maximum Formula" is printed in blue and red on a white label on one product and "Live Better Complex Vitamin B50" is printed in blue and green on a white label on the other product. Read more.

The Sport Cap 2.0 water bottle spouts are made of black plastic and have an attachment loop. “Klean Kanteen” is stamped into the side of the cap. Read more.

The recalled plastic water bottles have a Spiderman® picture on the cup and a Spiderman® figure on the screw-on lid. The water bottle is red, white, blue, and black and measures nine inches high. Read more.

This recall involves the Alpine Design aluminum water bottles sold at Sports Authority. The water bottles are sold in different colors and measure between six and 10 ½ inches tall. The water bottles are silver, blue, red, blue with pink flowers, red with the depiction of a mouse, or blue with the depiction of a zebra. “Alpine Design” is painted on the water bottle. Read more.

The recalled bottle sippers have white screw-on bases with dark blue, green or red pull-up valves. They are sold in packages of three. The package is labeled "Bottle Sippers." Bradshaw International Inc. and #70118 are written on the back of the package. Read more.
