December 11, 2007 Hairstyling Irons Recalled by Farouk Systems Inc. Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

The recalled hairstyling iron is black and measures 9.5 inches long. “CHI” is printed on the iron in red lettering. Date code 0306 or 0507 is embossed on the inside of the paddle. Read more.


April 17, 2007 DreamWorks Animation SKG Recalls Shrek Headbands Due to Injury Hazard; Giveaway Product Distributed To Pepsi Employees

The item is a plastic headband covered in bright green fabric with two ears similar to the character Shrek from the DreamWorks film series. A tag attached to one of the ears reads "DREAMWORKS" and "THE THIRD," and shows the top of the Shrek character's head. Read more.


April 3, 2007 Mastex Recalls Foot Warmer Due to Burn Hazard

The recall includes model 400 twin foot warmers with date code FO4. The date code is located on the switch and the model number is written on the blanket. Model 405 full size foot warmers are not included in the recall. Read more.


February 7, 2007 Conair Recalls Curling Irons for Shock and Electrocution Hazards

This recall involves ceramic, gold-matte finish curling irons. The irons have a 1, 1¼, or 1½-inch barrel, metal counter rest, vertically placed ON-OFF buttons, and a heat set dial that ranges from 0 to 30. A four-digit date code can be found on the plug prong. Date codes included in this recall range from November 2005 through July 2006 (ex. 0706). The name "Conair" is printed on the handle of the iron. Read more.

The baths sets are packaged in brightly colored vinyl bags with a clear window. Style numbers involved in this recall are: SVK 9498, 9499, 9501, 9506, 9507 and 9508.
