January 26, 2010 RadioShack Recalls Knight Hawk Toy Helicopters Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves Danbar Toys Knight Hawk 3D remote control helicopters. The helicopter can be identified by model number 006047 marked on the back of the controller and the Knight Hawk 3D logo on the front of the controller. The product was sold at RadioShack as catalog number 600-0566 (60-566) for ages 8 and up. Read more.


January 26, 2010 Horse Toy Figures Recalled by Blip Toys Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard

This recall involves the Nature Wonders HD pinto horse toy figures with model number 92093. The plastic horse is white with brown spots and measures about 4 inches tall. The model number and “Nature Wonders HD” are printed on the retail tag wrapped around the horse’s leg. Read more.

December 30, 2009 Wooden Toys Recalled by Kendamaspot Due to Violation of Lead Paint Ban

This recall involves Oozora and Shin-Fuji Kendama Japanese wooden skill toys. The toys have a ball connected by a string to a handle with three cups and spike on top. A Japanese Kendama Association sticker is affixed to the toy. The red and green balls on the Oozora and only the red balls on the Shin Fuji are included in the recall. Read more.


December 17, 2009 Child's Asphyxiation Death Prompts Recall of Toy Dart Gun Play Set by OKK Trading

The “ACTION TEAM” play set has a toy gun with three soft rubber darts, a S.W.A.T. watch, a baton, walkie-talkie, a whistle, and a badge with a clip and an identification card. The soft, pliable orange plastic darts have a nearly 2 ½ inch long shaft and an approximately ¾ inch diameter suction cup. This recall involves “Super Rig Transport” toy truck with trailer and vehicles. The truck and trailer are multi-colored, holding two vehicles and two action figures. “Super Rigs Play Set” is labeled on the outside of the packaging. The box back has a bar code square with Item No. 67007, Made in China and Bar Code 6-98567-67007-3. The bottom of the trailer has an engraved code 45TNGO9. Read more.


December 8, 2009 Snap Beads Recalled By Edushape Due to Choking Hazard

The recalled product is multicolor and textured soft plastic beads that are designed to connect to one another. December 8, 2009 Evenflo Recalls Cake Toys on Childrens Activity Centers Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves Evenflo ExerSaucer® 1-2-3 Tea for Me™ activity learning centers. The tea party themed toys have a two–tier cake that is light blue, dark pink and yellow. Models included in the recall are 6161834 and 6161920. The model numbers are printed on the packaging and on a label located on the underside of the base of the product. October 6, 2009 Wooden Toys Recalled by Daiso Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves four models of Daiso wooden toys including Penguin Handbell, Pull Doll, Alligator Pull Toy and Rolling Animals. The Penguin Handbell has a small metal bell inside its hollow interior. The Pull Doll’s limbs move up and down when the string is pulled. The Alligator Pull Toy is green and yellow will move in an undulating fashion when pulled. The Rolling Animals are in the forms of a dog, rabbit, cat and mice, and their tails are connected to their bodies by metal springs. Daiso is printed on the product’s packaging. Read more.
