This recall involves a wooden toy rattle with light brown stain, eight wooden dowels and a gold-colored metal rattle inside. The toy rattle is circular in shape, measuring 2 3/4 inches by 2 inches. Read more.


August 5, 2010 Fisher-Price Recalls Little People Play 'n Go Campsite™ Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves the Little People Play 'n Go Campsite. The seven-piece plastic play set includes Sonya Lee, a tent and other accessories. Product number R6935 is printed on the toy's packaging. The name Sonya Lee is printed on the underside of the figure. Only Sonya Lee figures that bend at the waist, have a green sweater and purple camera around the neck are included in this recall. No other Sonya Lee figure is affected. The remaining pieces of the Little People Play 'n Go Campsite are not affected. Read more.


June 10, 2010 Rhino Toys Inc. Recalls Bead Toy Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves the Beado hand-held beaded play toy with model number 1501 and date code 02910 04323A. The product measures six inches in diameter and is composed of four blue plastic "hubs", six white plastic "wires" and twelve multi-colored beads that slide along the wires. The model number and date code are printed on the bottom of the packaging and the date code is also inside of the blue hubs (see picture below). Beados that have a date code different than 02910 or have a date code of 02910 and an inspection sticker on the bottom of the packaging and a black mark by the date code inside the blue hub (see picture below) are not included in this recall. June 3, 2010 One Step Ahead Recalls Children's Stacking Toys Due to Choking and Aspiration Hazard

This recall involves Animal Crackers Giant Stacking Toys. The multi-colored toy has five plush stacking rings that stack and rest on a stationary turtle base. The rings represent different animals including a frog, dog, cat, rabbit, mouse and chick. A fish is on top of the center pole. Each ring makes a different sound: rattle, jingle, crinkle and squeak. “One Step Ahead” is printed on a white tag attached to the toy. May 27, 2010 Buckyballs High Powered Magnets Sets Recalled by Maxfield and Oberton Due to Violation of Federal Toy Standard

This recall involves the Buckyballs® high powered magnets sets labeled "Ages 13+". The set contains 216 powerful rare earth magnets. It is intended to build unlimited shapes and patterns. Since March 2010, Buckyballs® high powered magnets sets were labeled "Keep Away From All Children" and are not being recalled. Read more.


May 18, 2010 Children's Giraffe Blanket Recalled by Rashti & Rashti Due to Choking Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Target Stores

The recall involves the pink "I Love You" security blanket with a giraffe plush head. The blanket measures about 14 inches wide by 14 inches in length. "I Love You" is embroidered on the blanket. Style number Y22230H and "Just One Year a division of Carter's" are sewn into a label on the blanket. Read more.


May 17, 2010 Mall of America Recalls Plush Toy Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves the Sandy the Squirrel plush toy, which measures approximately 1 foot high by 4.5 inches wide. It is a brown and tan plush toy with a purple skirt and bikini top. "Po #: 86849" and the production date of 01/2010 are printed on the toy's smaller white tag. Read more.



May 12, 2010 Remote-Controlled Helicopters Recalled by Imagine Nation Books Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves the “Fly Dragonfly” (also called “Queen Bee”) remote-controlled helicopters. The helicopters are black and yellow plastic, measure about 19 inches long by 6 ½ inches high. The helicopters have a rounded front yellow cockpit with bee decals and a narrow black plastic tail assembly. They were sold with a remote-control unit and a separate charger. “Fly Dragonfly” and SKU #51727 are printed on the packaging. Read more.
