November 18, 2003 Schylling Associates Inc. Recall of Jack-In-the-Box-Type Toys

These multicolor tin Jack-In-the-Box-type toys have illustrations of bears in various activities on the sides. Each side features the enlarged single letters of the word "BEAR" and "BEAR" is written on the top of the toy. Other writing on the sides includes, "Bears in a Boat," "Bears Eating Eggs," "Bears in the Air," and Bears Racing Rabbits." When the crank is turned, the song, "Pop Goes the Weasel" plays and a toy teddy bears pops up out of the top of the box. "Schylling" is written on the bottom of the toys. Toys with date code stickers on the bottom are not included in the recall. Read more.






October 9, 2003 Magic Cabin Recall of Wooden Toy Cars

The Sonato Smiling Mini-Car Toy is wood with four solid- colored wheels painted orange, blue, yellow and green. A smiling face is painted on the front. On the top of the toy is a red button that squeaks when pushed. The toy car was sold individually and as a part of the "Wooden Baby Toys Set of 5." The toy car sold separately is item # 828143 and with the set # 828144. Read more.




August 4, 2003 "Happyvillagers" Toy Sets Recalled by HearthSong

The Happyvillagers are made with birchwood and painted with various villager images. The sets were sold separately with 12 villagers per set and as a part of the Happyville Special set that included a set of 35 Happyville Blocks. Only the Happyvillagers are included in the recall. Read more.
