April 13, 2006 Toe-Kick Saws Recalled Due to Broken Handles

The saws are used for the removal of floors or cutting flooring in the toe kick area under cabinets. Only Model 795 which has a blue handle and motor housing is included in this recall. "Model 795" and "Crain Toe-Kick Saw" are printed on a label on the blue motor housing. Read more.


April 11, 2006 Tap Enterprises Inc. Recalls Air Compressors Due to Fire and Electrocution Hazards

The mini-pancake air compressors were sold with yellow, blue, gray or silver-painted tanks. Item #2112 and "CUMMINS INDUSTRIAL TOOLS, AIR COMPRESSOR (OILESS), 110V.60Hz, 2 Gallon, Made in China" can be found on the motor housing. Read more.


April 4, 2006 Tecumseh Engines Used on Various Power Equipment Recalled Due to Fire Hazard

The recall includes power equipment with Tecumseh engines listed below. The engine model number and date of manufacture (DOM) information is located on a label on the side of the housing. The recalled engines have a date of manufacture code (DOM) that starts with 05241 to 05286. The label on the engine reads, "Tecumseh Power Company," and in addition to the Model and DOM information, lists the Spec number needed for identification. Read more.


March 1, 2006 Infant Seats for Shopping Carts Recalled, Chalky Residue Could Cause Skin Irritation

Gray or red infant seats that are permanently attached to shopping carts in retail stores. "SAFE-SEAT +" is molded into the side of these seats. A metal tube around the frame of the seat attaches it to the shopping cart. Read more.


January 24, 2006 Porter-Cable Recall to Repair Routers

The recalled Porter-Cable routers are tools used in conjunction with various bits to cut and shape wood. The model and serial numbers are printed on the nameplate on the top of the router. Routers marked with a "T" above "PORTER+CABLE" on the nameplate are not included in this recall. Read more.

The recall involves Porter-Cable® 7¼-inch MAG-Saw™ Circular Saws with model numbers 324MAG (serial numbers 10001through 108962), 325MAG (serial numbers 10001through 014712), 423MAG (serial numbers 10001through 100371), and 424MAG (serial numbers 10001through 012690). The model and serial numbers are located on a label on the top of the saws. Units marked with a "T" at the location shown below have been inspected and are not affected by this recall.
