Recalls: Powered Scooters or Skateboards

This recall involves all 42-volt Jetson Rogue self-balancing scooters/hoverboards. The self-balancing scooters/hoverboards have two wheels with light up hubcaps and come in the following colors: black, blue, red, pink, and purple with a black platform. Jetson is printed on one side of the body and on the top of the footpads. Affected units were manufactured from 2018 through 2019 and have a UL certification label and serial number on the bottom of the unit. Affected units do not have a barcode on the bottom of the unit. Units with a barcode next to the serial number are not included in this recall. The charge port on affected units has three pins and is located to the left of the power button. Units with a charge port that has just one pin and is located to the right of the power button are not included in this recall. Read more.

This recall involves the Linus Bike Cesta 500 and Ero 500 electric bicycles. The serial number can be found on the underside of the frame near the chain ring. The brand name "Linus" is printed on the frame of the bicycle. The recalled bicycles have one of the following serial numbers. This recall involves model year 2020 Hover-1 Superfly Hoverboards model H1-SPFY. They were sold in black only with blue LED lights on the hoverboard deck near the foot pads. Hover-1 is written on the front of the hoverboard. Recalled hoverboards have a serial number on the bottom of the hoverboard beginning with SPFY-BLK-GO-2008, SPFY-BLK-GO-2009 or SPFY-BLK-GO-2010. A warning label can be found on the bottom of the hoverboard next to the serial number. The warning label, at the bottom right, states "H1-SPFY." Read more.

This recall involves all models of the Schwinn Tone Electric Scooter. That includes the Tone 1, Tone 2 and Tone 3 models. The scooters come in black or white and have a "T" handlebar and an approximately two-foot-long board. The e-scooter's serial number is located on the bottom of the board. Read more.

This recall involves the Vecaro brand Glide65, Drift8, and Trek10 self-balancing scooter, commonly referred to as hoverboards. Hoverboards have one wheel at each end of a platform and are powered by lithium-ion battery packs. The boards have "Vecaro" printed on the front outer casing and come in black, white, red, blue, metallic gold, metallic silver, graffiti white print, and red flame print. This recall involves electric, battery-operated City Scooters that are purple and black with Monster High graphics on the front panels, seat and rear fenders. The scooters were manufactured between October 5, 2012 and November 7, 2012. Model number "8801-14" and the date of manufacture, formatted as "YYYY/MM/DD," are printed on a data label on the underside of the scooter's center platform. Serial numbers for the recalled scooters have the letters "QYCEI" followed by a six-digit number in the following range: 003125 through 014456. The serial number can be found etched on the underside of the scooter's center platform near the data label.

This recall involves electric, battery-operated City Scooters that are pink and black with Hello Kitty graphics on the front panel, footboard and rear fenders. The scooters were manufactured between September 9, 2012 and December 3, 2012. Model number "8801-03" and the date of manufacture, formatted as "YYYY/MM/DD," are printed on a data label on the underside of the scooter's center platform. Serial numbers for the recalled scooters have the letters "QYCEI" followed by a six-digit number in the following range: 000001 through 014456. The serial number can be found etched on the underside of the scooter's center platform near the data label.

The recall involves Model E300 Electric Scooters, which are powered by battery-operated motors. The model number appears on the tube that connects the head tube to the deck. The recalled scooters are blue or silver. This recall includes only products with barcodes beginning in 100620-03 through -09. Products with other barcodes or no barcode are not included in this recall. The barcode can be located on the steering stem, the battery tray, the charger, and the product’s packaging. Read more.

The recall involves PowMax battery chargers distributed with Razor battery-powered scooters and ride-on vehicles. The name "PowMax" appears prominently on the face of the battery charger unit. The vehicles that were sold with the recalled chargers include Razor™ electric scooters (Models E100, E125, E300, E300S, E200, and E200S), Razor Pocket Rocket™ mini electric motorcycles, Razor Ground Force™ electric go karts, and Razor Chopper mini electric motorcycles. The recall involves models E300, E300S, E200 and E200S Razor Electric Scooters which are powered by battery motors. The model numbers appear on the down tube attaching the handlebars to the deck. The scooters are collapsible for storage, and are equipped with a stepping plate and kickstand attached to the base. The E300 and E300S models are silver and green.
