September 11, 2014 Arctic Cat Recalls Side by Sides Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves all 2014 Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail and Wildcat Trail XT side-by-side utility vehicles with Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) 000001 through 316232. The VIN is located on the frame tube near the driver's side front wheel. These units were sold in red, green, lime green, team arctic green and mat black. The words "Arctic Cat" and "Wildcat Trail" appear on the sides of these vehicles and on the hood. Read more.

September 4, 2014 Yamaha Recalls Snowmobiles Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves model year 2014 SR10R (SRViper), SR10RXS (SRViper RTX SE), SR10L (SRViper LTX), SR10LS (SRViper LTX SE) and SR10XS (SRViper XTX) snowmobiles and model year 2015 SR10LS (SRViper LTX SE) snowmobiles. They were sold in a variety of red, black, blue and white color combinations. The VIN number is stamped on the tunnel near the right side footrest. The letter E in the 10th position of the VIN number indicates that the unit was made in the 2014 model year, and a letter F in the 10th position indicates that the unit was made in the 2015 model year. July 30, 2014 Kawasaki Recalls Teryx4 Recreational Off-highway Vehicles Due to Injury Hazard (Recall Alert)

The recalled vehicles are 2012 and 2013 Kawasaki Teryx4 750 4x4 recreational off-highway vehicles. The four-wheel drive vehicles have automobile-style controls, side-by-side seating for four people, four doors, a roll bar with hand holds and a cargo bed. The 2012 and 2013 models come in three different styles: non-EPS, EPS and EPS LE. The LE style has a roof and aluminum wheels. The 2012 models were sold in the colors blue, camouflage, green, red and yellow. The 2013 models were sold in the colors black, camouflage, green, red, white and yellow. The model name "Teryx4" is on the driver's side of the hood. For all colors of the EPS model except camouflage, "EPS" appears on the driver and passenger side cowling near the top front corner of the doors. On the EPS LE, "EPS" appears on the driver and passenger side cowling near top front corner of the doors and "LE" appears on the hood on the driver's side. Read more.

April 29, 2014 Kawasaki Recalls Off-Road Motorcycles Due to Crash Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves model year 2014 KLX110 and KLX110L off-road motorcycles. The motorcycles have a 110 cubic centimeter engine, a green fuel tank, shroud cover and fenders, a black seat and white side covers. "Kawasaki" is on both sides of the shroud cover. Model numbers are on both side covers directly beneath the seat. KLX110 models have an automatic clutch, a shift pedal and no clutch lever on the handlebars. The seat height for these models is about 27 inches. KLX110L models have a manual clutch, a shift pedal and a clutch lever on the handlebars. The seat height for these models is about 29 inches. The emission label located below the handlebar and behind the number plate on the steering head states that it is a 2014 model. Read more.

April 22, 2014 E-Z-GO Recalls Golf, Shuttle, Off-Road Utility Vehicles Due to Crash Hazard

This recall involves E-Z-GO, Cushman and Bad Boy Buggies brand gas- and electric-powered, four-wheeled vehicles with bench seats for the driver and passengers. Recalled E-Z-GO and Cushman vehicles have serial numbers from 2823208 to 2850425 and from 3000001 to 3003187. Bad Boy Buggies vehicles have serial numbers from 8005089 to 8006013. The brand and model names are printed on the side and front panels of the vehicles. Serial numbers are printed on a plate or label inside the cab below the driver's seat. March 18, 2014 Arctic Cat Recalls Off-Highway Utility Vehicles Due to Fuel Leak and Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall includes Model Year 2014 Arctic Cat Prowler 500 HDX Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle (ROV). The two-seat vehicles come in four colors: green, red, vibrant red metallic or emerald green metallic. The vehicles have "Arctic Cat" printed on each side of the hood and on the cargo box tail gate, "500" printed on each side of the front fenders and "HDX" printed on each side of the rear cargo box. This recall involves two-wheeled 2014 Yamaha competition off-road motorcycles with model numbers YZ250FEL, YZ250FEW, YZ450FEL and YZ450FEW. YZ250F or YZ450F and 250 or 450 is printed on the left and right side panels of the motorcycles. The motorcycles are blue and white, or red and white. The VIN number is stamped on the frame at the steering stem. The letter E in the 10th position of the VIN number indicates that the unit was made in the 2014 model year. Read more.

February 25, 2014 Polaris Recalls Ranger Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles Due to Crash Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves 2013 Polaris Ranger® 500 EFI and Ranger Crew® 500 EFI recreational off-highway vehicles. Model names are on the right and left side of the hood. "Polaris" is stamped on the front of the vehicles above the front grill and "Polaris Ranger 4x4" is printed on the side of the rear bed box. The Ranger has a bench seat and a rear cargo box. Ranger model colors are black, camouflage, green, and red. Model numbers for the Ranger are R13RH50AG, R13RH50AH, R13RH50AM and R13RH50AR. The Ranger Crew has a front and a rear bench seat and a rear cargo box. Model numbers for the Ranger Crew are R13WH50AG, R13WH50AH, R13WH50AR and R13WH50AX. Ranger Crew model colors are camouflage, green, red and tan. Recalled vehicles have a VIN between 4XA******DE210149 and 4XA******DE791730 stamped on the front lower frame rail of the vehicle on the driver's side.
