March 27, 2007 Universal Engineering Recalls Clamps for Motocross Motorcycles Due to Fork Separation Hazard

The recall involves Radius Triple Clamps sold as an upgrade for use with a certain make and models of motocross motorcycles. The clamps are black in color and display the Universal logo on each end and the name "UNIVERSAL" on one side. They were ordered under part numbers 1025-40-0618 and 1025-40-0678. Read more.


March 20, 2007 American Suzuki Motor Corp. Recalls All-Terrain Vehicles

The recalled product is a Suzuki 2007 model year QuadSport Z90 ATV with model number LT-Z90K7. The model number is located on the lower right side of the ATV frame. The vehicle identification number (VIN) is located on the left rear side of the ATV frame. Refer to the VIN list on www.suzukicycles.com These ATVs were sold in yellow and white colors. Writing on the ATVs includes: "QuadSport," printed in silver or white letters, "Z90," printed in red/black letters and "Suzuki," printed in black letters. Read more.


January 31, 2007 American Honda Motor Corp. Recalls All-Terrain Vehicles for Crash Hazard

The recall involves 2006 model year TRX450ER and TRX450R ATVs. They are adult-sized ATVs designed for use by riders age 16 and older. The ATVs are available in red or black. The TRX450ER and TRX450R model names are located on the front cowling just below the handlebars and the name Honda is printed on the seat. Read more.


January 23, 2007 Arctic Cat Recalls Model Year 2007 90cc Youth Model ATVs

The recall includes 2007 model 90cc DVX youth model ATVs within the VIN range of RFB07ATV07K6F0243 through RFB07ATVX7K6F0752, and 90cc Utility youth model ATVs within the VIN range of RFB07ATV07K6D1367 through RFB07ATVX7K6D2400. The range refers to the last six characters of the VIN. These models are designed for used by operators 12 years old and older. The 90cc DVX model is available in Lime Green or Red, and has the model name DVX 90 on each side of the fuel tank, and Arctic Cat on each side of the seat. The 90cc Utility model is available in Marsh Green or Red, and has the name Arctic Cat on each side of the fuel tank and 90 on each side panel near operator's leg position. Read more.

The recall involves Kawasaki 2007 model year KSF50B7F (KFX50) and KSF90A7F (KFX90) All Terrain Vehicles. These are 50cc and 90cc models designed for use by operators 6 years of age and older (KFX50) and 12 years and older (KFX90). January 3, 2007 Nitrous Oxide Systems Recalls Snowmobile and ATV NOS Kit Bottles that Can Forcefully Burst

NOS kits for these vehicles provide extra power for the engine. The recall involves certain NOS nitrous oxide systems designed for snowmobiles and ATVs. The valves were manufactured between February 1, 2006 and September 26, 2006. The date code is located on the NOS packaging. Read more.


November 8, 2006 Warn Industries Inc. Recalls Eight-Post ATV Winch Kits for Overheating

This recall involves eight-post contactors used on certain 2,500 to 3,500 lb Warn ATV and Utility Vehicle Winch Kits. The black contactors were sold as a part of winch kits and have a "WARN" logo on the top and bottom of the contactor. Warn part number 62135 is printed on the bottom. Contactors are found on the vehicle attached to the power wires, between the battery and the winch. The contactor has four holes for securing it to the vehicle. The recall involves 2007 model year Kawasaki KLF250A7F ATVs. These are 4-wheel ATVs sold under the brand name Kawasaki Bayou 250. They are available in red, green, or white, and the words "Kawasaki" and "Bayou" are on the sides, and "250" on the rear fender. Read more.
