December 14, 2005 American Honda Motor Corp. Recall of All-Terrain Vehicles

The recall involves Honda 2005 and 2006 model year TRX400EX ATVs. They are adult-sized ATVs designed for use by riders age 16 and older. The 2005 model year ATVs are available in red and yellow. The 2006 model year ATVs are available in red or black. The TRX400EX model name is on the fuel tank and Honda is in white letters on the seat. Read more.


December 8, 2005 Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. Recall of All-Terrain Vehicles

The recall involves Kawasaki 2005 model year KVF750-A1 and KVF750-B1 Brute Force ATVs. These models are 750cc V-twin All Terrain Vehicles available in Red, Green, Yellow, and Camouflage colorings. They have "Kawasaki" and "Brute Force" on the sides of the bodywork below the handlebars, and "V-Twin 750" on the sides of the rear fenders. Read more.

The recall involves all model year 2005 900 Fusion, 900 RMK, 900 Switchback snowmobiles, and select model year 2006 600HO Fusion / RMK / Switchback, 900 Fusion / RMK / Switchback, FS Classic / Touring, and FST Classic / Touring / Switchback snowmobiles. The recalled vehicles are model year 2006 Outlander 800 H.O. XT Bombardier ATVs. The model numbers affected are 2J6A and 2J6E. The model numbers are located in the serial number on the identification sticker under the seat. The ATVs have the words, "Bombardier" and "Rotax 800" on the fenders. Read more.


September 22, 2005 Arctic Cat Inc. Recall of Off-Highway Utility Vehicles

The Prowler XT was produced in three colors: Green, Cat Green, and Red. The vehicles have the words Arctic Cat on each side of the cargo box, 650 H1 on each side of the front hood, and the name Prowler XT centered on the front of the hood. The recalled units fall within the vehicle identification range (VIN) of 4UF06MPV06T300001 through 4UF06MPV86T300781. Consumers only need to look at the final six digits of the VIN to determine if their vehicle is included in this recall. Read more.
