April 25, 2006 Arctic Cat Recalls Snowmobiles Posing Fire and Burn Hazard

The recalled fuel tanks were installed on all 2004, 2005 and 2006 Firecat and Sabercat models. The recall also includes all 2003 Firecat carbureted models. The affected models were manufactured in a variety of colors and engine sizes, however, all are included in this recall. Read more.

April 11, 2006 Polaris Industries Inc. Recalls Snowmobiles for Steering Hazard

The recall includes Polaris Model Year 2006 700IQ Classic, 700 IQ Touring, Select Model Year 2005 900 Fusion, 900 RMK, 900 Switchback, Select Model Year 2006 700 IQ Fusion, RMK, and Select Model Year 2006 900 Fusion, RMK Switchback Snowmobiles with Accessory Electric Start Kits. The recall involves all models and packages of the Model Years 2005 and 2006 Mach Z and all models and packages of the Model Year 2006 MX Z Renegade 1000 Ski-Doo® Snowmobiles.
