September 30, 2020 Petzl Recalls Safety Ropes Due to Fall and Injury Hazard

The recalled low-stretch kernmantle ropes are designed for professional use, including work-at-height use, difficult access, technical rescue and industrial applications; and for recreational use, including climbing, caving and mountaineering. The ropes have a nylon core and polyester sheath material. Only ropes with serial numbers ranging between 18 C 0000000 000 and 20 H 0000000 000 are included in the recall. The recalled rope models include: Axis 11mm rope (white, yellow, black, blue, red and orange) available in 150, 200, 600 and 1200 feet. Model Numbers R074AA00 - R074AA27. September 24, 2020 CFMOTO Recalls Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles Due to Crash Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves the 2020 and 2021 ZFORCE 950 Sport ROV with a 963cc 4-cycle engine. Vehicles colors are red, silver or gray with the CFMOTO logo in the center of the front grille. The model name is located on each side of the vehicle doors. The model year 2020 ROVs will have the letter L in the 10th position of the vehicle identification number (VIN). The model year 2021 ROVs will have the letter M in the 10th position of the vehicle identification number (VIN). The VIN number is stamped on the right-side frame rail, behind the right rear tire. This recall involves six models of Pedego electric bikes. Models include the Interceptor (Including Platinum Edition), City Commuter (Including Mid Drive Edition and Black Edition), Boomerang Plus, Ridge Rider, Trail Tracker (Including Gorilla Edition) and Stretch (Including Dual Drive Edition). September 23, 2020 Specialized Bicycle Components Recalls Sirrus Bicycles with Alloy Cranks Due to Fall and Injury Hazards

This recall involves the 2019-2020 model year Sirrus, Sirrus X and Sirrus Sport bicycles. The bicycles were sold in 27 different colors. Consumers can determine if their bicycle is part of the recall if "Sirrus" or "Sirrus X" is written on the top tube of the bicycle and the model name (e.g. "3.0") is written on the seatstay of the bicycle. This recall involves the green polypropylene straps sold with Hi-Lift Storage Hoist Classic and Pro models storage hoists. The Hi-Lift Storage Hoist is used to suspend equipment for purposes of storage. The packaging for the Hi-Lift Storage Hoist says "Spire Supply." Only green straps are included in this recall. September 3, 2020 Decathlon USA Recalls Swiss Balls Due to Injury Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Decathlon’s Domyos swiss balls, also referred to as pilates balls or gymnastics gymballs, with model numbers 8529175, 8529176 and 8529177. The recalled balls are used for exercising and were sold in blue, bordeaux, and gray colors. They measure 21.65 inches to 29.53 inches in diameter and weigh between 10.6 and 10.9 ounces. Domyos, the diameter and the weight are printed near the base of the ball. Read more.

August 27, 2020 CPSC and Morpher Warn Consumers to Stop Using and Dispose of Bicycle Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury; Recalling Firm is Unable to Conduct Recall (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Morpher flat-folding bicycle helmets. They were sold in one size, fitting head circumference from 52 cm to 58 cm (20.5 to 22.8 inches). The helmets were sold with a storage bag and in the following solid or dotted colors: Gloss or matte black, gray, red, silver, white and yellow. The Morpher name and logo appear on both sides of the helmet. The Morpher logo appears on the back of the helmet. Read more.
