Recalls: Sports and Recreation
The recalled vehicles are 2012 and 2013 Kawasaki Teryx4 750 4x4 recreational off-highway vehicles. The four-wheel drive vehicles have automobile-style controls, side-by-side seating for four people, four doors, a roll bar with hand holds and a cargo bed. The 2012 and 2013 models come in three different styles: non-EPS, EPS and EPS LE. The LE style has a roof and aluminum wheels. The 2012 models were sold in the colors blue, camouflage, green, red and yellow. The 2013 models were sold in the colors black, camouflage, green, red, white and yellow. The model name "Teryx4" is on the driver's side of the hood. For all colors of the EPS model except camouflage, "EPS" appears on the driver and passenger side cowling near the top front corner of the doors. On the EPS LE, "EPS" appears on the driver and passenger side cowling near top front corner of the doors and "LE" appears on the hood on the driver's side. Read more.
This recall involves all Trayl TRN 29-inch hardtail mountain bikes. The bike has a black and green frame with a white front fork. The word Trayl is in white on the underside of the down tube and in green on the top side of the down tube. The Trayl logo appears as the "Y" in the word. Read more.
This recall involves all 2014 GT Fury Expert and 2014 GT Fury Team downhill mountain bicycles. The recalled Fury Expert model is blue with red and white accents. The recalled Fury Team model is black with lime green and blue accents. The bicycles have front and rear disc brakes, rear shock absorbers and front suspension forks. "Fury" is printed on the top tube and the bottom of the chainstay, the GT logo is on the down tube and the top of the chainstay. The model names are printed in small letters on the top tube of the bicycles just above the word Fury. Read more.
This recall involves Bollinger Fitness Classic and SoftTouch resistance bands with door attachment, model numbers 5771, 5772, 5773, 5774 and 5775. The 4-foot-long resistance bands are made of gray rubber with gray, red, black or blue accents and have black foam handles and a door attachment. A 5-inch-long strap of nylon webbing is looped onto the band with a plastic ball attached or encased that serves as a door anchor. The Bollinger Fitness logo appears on the handles. This recall involves SR Suntour front forks on 13 models of Scott and 11 models of Trek 2011, 2012 and 2013 bicycles. Recalled Scott bicycles have 700c wheels, disc brakes and one of the following Suntour front fork models: NEX or NCX. Bicycle model names and numbers are on the main frame of each bicycle in a location that varies by model. The model year can be identified by the color scheme of the bicycle frame. The fork's model name is printed on the outer sides of the fork. Recalled Trek bicycles have disc brakes and one of the following Suntour front fork models: NEX, NRX (with IS mounts), XCM (on bicycles with 29-inch wheels) or XCT (on bicycles with 29-inch wheels). Bicycle model names and numbers are on the top tube near the seat tube or near the head tube. Bicycles with a serial number ending in F, G or H should be taken to the dealer for inspection. The recall involves Link Uno, Link D7i, Link D8, Link P9, Link P7i, and Link P24h models of Tern brand adult folding bikes. These six models were sold in black/blue, black/green, black/gray, black/red dark gray/light gray, gray/orange and white/pink color combinations. "Tern" is printed on the front end of the top tube and on other portions of the frame. The model name is printed on the middle of the top tube. Recalled bicycles have a 10-character alphanumeric serial number that begin with either AI1133 through AI1137 or AI1149 through AI1213 stamped on the bottom bracket shell of the bike. An alphanumeric service tag number is located on the front of the seat tube and this number can be used to determine if the bicycle is affected by going to the firm's website. Read more.
The recalled Reebok TCPRE Senior (SR) and Junior (JR) Goalie Throat Collars are black with white trim and the word "Reebok" is embroidered at the base of the collar. They have the BNQ certification mark screen printed and the words "Ballistic Nylon Ballistique", "TCPRE SR or JR" and sizing information on the right side of the collar base. Affected products have the model number K101SR TCPRE or K101JR TCPRE located on the label sewn on the inside of each throat collar pad and on the outside of a polybag in which the product may have been sold at retail stores. This recall involves model year 2014 SCOTT men's and women's road bicycles, models Speedster 30, Speedster 40, Contessa Speedster 25 and Contessa Speedster 35. The bikes have the brand name "SCOTT" and the model name "Speedster" on the frame. They were sold in black and white with blue, green, purple or teal accents. The following serial number ranges are included in the recall: AS30500001-AS30504930, AS30700001-AS30704651, AS30900001-AS30903278, AS31100001-AS31103744 and AS40101604-AS40105463. The serial number is printed on a white sticker and embossed on the underside of the bicycle frame near the pedals. Read more.
This recall involves Mission Archery crossbows that have the automatic safety located behind the trigger at rear of scope mount, models MXB 320, MXB Dagger, MXB 400 and MXB 360; and serial numbers ranging from XB04879 to XB16555. The crossbows were sold in black, lost camo AT (a three-color camouflage pattern with light brown, dark brown, dark green), white camo and pink camo pattern. The crossbows measure between 29 and 35 inches long and were available individually or as part of a package that included a black scope, quiver, three bolts and a rope cocking aid. Mission by Mathews is engraved on the left rear side of the crossbow's rail. The serial number is located on the underside of the rail directly behind the safety. This recall involves all Trident Series 2 ultraviolet sanitation systems for pools. The sanitation systems are a gray tube that stands 32 inches high by 11 inches in diameter. They are plumbed into the pool's water circulation pipes and plugged in or hard-wired into an electrical system. The pool's water runs through the unit and is sanitized by ultraviolet lamps. This is a secondary sanitation system used in conjunction with chemical sanitizers such as chlorine or bromine. "Trident Ultraviolet Corporation," "Series 2" and "UV Ultraviolet Sanitation System" are printed on a black label on the front of the units. "Trident Series 2 Ultraviolet Water Treatment System" and a series of letters for the date code are printed on a silver sticker on the units.
