August 30, 2012 Specialized Bicycle Components Expands Recall of Bike Brake Levers Due to Crash Hazard

This recall includes Tektro TL-83 brake levers sold on 2012 S-Works Shiv bicycle frame modules, 2012 S-Works Shiv TT bicycle frame modules, and sold as aftermarket service parts for these modules. The TL-83 is a version of the TL-720 brake lever, modified with a quick release slot at the top of the lever arm and designed exclusively for use with aerodynamic handlebars (aerobars) sold as original equipment on these modules. They are black aluminum and model number "TL-720" can be read on the side of the lever arm when braking action is applied. Read more.


August 30, 2012 Meijer Stores Recalls Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves two-wheeled youth and adult Huffy, Iron Horse, Mongoose, Northwoods, Pacific, Razor, and Schwinn bicycles measuring 20" or more. They were assembled on-site at Meijer stores by Serv-U-Success of Grandville, Mich. The bicycles were sold between March 2012 and August 2012 and have a Serv-U-Success assembly sticker attached. This recall does not include bicycles with Serv-U-Success assembly stickers written in green marker. The Serv-U-Success assembly sticker is located on the bottom of the bicycle frame between the pedals or on the back of the frame facing the rear tire. August 28, 2012 Eecycleworks Recalls Bicycle Brakes Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves "eebrake" model aftermarket brakes sold between September, 2008 and March, 2011 for use on adult road racing bicycles. The recalled models have both a white "ee" logo on the front of the brakes and a five-digit serial number beginning with either "80xxx" or "09xxx" engraved on either the front or the back of the strut portion of the brake. August 22, 2012 Kawasaki Recalls Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles Due to Injury, Death Hazard

The recalled vehicles are 2012 Kawasaki Teryx4 4x4 recreational off-highway vehicles in the following styles: 750, 750 EPS and 750 EPS LE. The four-wheel drive recreational off-highway vehicles have side-by-side seating for four people and automobile style controls. The vehicles are sold in red, camouflage, green, blue and yellow colors. The model name “Teryx4” appears on the driver’s side of the hood. The style name does not appear on the 750 version. For all colors of the 750 EPS except camouflage, "EPS" appears on the driver and passenger side cowling near the top front corner of the doors. On the 750 EPS LE, "EPS" appears on the driver and passenger side cowling near top front corner of the doors and "LE" appears on the hood on the driver’s side. Read more.


July 19, 2012 Club Car Recalls Golf and Transport Vehicles Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled vehicles are various sizes, models and colors of 2012 gas-powered golf and transport vehicles used for short-distance transportation. The vehicles can be identified by model and serial number. The serial number is above and to the right of the accelerator pedal. Model names do not appear on the vehicles, but models can be identified by two-letter prefixes on the serial number. Club Car is printed on the front of each vehicle. July 18, 2012 Trampolines Recalled by Panline USA Due to Fall Hazard

The product is a small, toddler-sized trampoline with a yellow and blue colored handlebar over the top of the trampoline for toddlers to hold on to while jumping. The trampoline has a blue mat and orange pads with different colored circles printed onto the pads, yellow legs and blue feet. A white label is sewn into the underside of the orange pads which has “786X Little Jumpers Trampoline” printed above the bar code. This recall involves trampolines with the codes 21011-P0003070, 21011-P0003246, 25511-P0003071, 27811-P0003372, 29811-P0003373 and 34211-P0003375. This code is printed underneath the barcode. July 11, 2012 Troxel Recalls Flexible Flyer Swing Sets Due to Fall Hazard

June 27, 2012 Big Cat Human Powered Vehicles Recalls Bicycle Due to Crash Hazard

This recall involves model year 2010 Catbike Musashi recumbent bicycles. The bicycles were sold in the following colors: black, white, silver, yellow, orange, red, lime green, pink, blue, candy purple, candy red, candy green, candy blue and sparkle orange. "Musashi" is printed on the frame and "Catbike" is printed on the seat, frame and headrest. Serial numbers CBM0002 to CBM0170 are included in this recall. The serial number can be found underneath the main frame where the seat bottom is located. Read more.


June 21, 2012 Currie Technologies Recalls Adult Tricycles Due to Fall Hazard

The recalled tricycles are battery powered with 24" wheels and a basket between the rear wheels. Their brand name, eZip or iZip, is printed on the sides of the bike and above the front wheel. Bikes were sold in the following colors: red, blue and sand. Recalled tricycles are in the serial number range ACB06L00001 to ACB10H99999. Serial numbers are engraved on the frame under the handlebar support on the front of the tricycle. Model numbers include EZ-TRY-SD, IZ-TRY-RD, IZ-TRICR7-BL and IZ-TRY8-BL. Read more.


June 7, 2012 Nautilus Recalls Bowflex Dumbbells Due to Injury Hazard

These black steel dumbbells are sold in pairs and can have a weight capacity of 10 to 90 pounds. The word 'BOWFLEX' is written in grey along the top of each handle. A selector dial on each end of the cradle lists weights in red, starting at 10 and increasing in increments of five. The red Bowflex logo is at the center of the dial. This recall involves units with a date-of-manufacture code in the serial number in the range of 1111 through 1136. The date code is the four-digit code following the letters "MAG" in the serial number. The serial number is on a white label on the bottom of the cradle. Lift the dumbbell from the cradle with all weights attached before turning over the base. Dumbbells with a black dot on the inside portion of the weight selector dial are not affected by this recall.
