This recall involves Hunter Contempo ceiling fan models 59176 and 59174. The model number can be found on a label on top of the motor housing. The fan comes with five reversible blades and has a 54-inch blade span. Model 59176 comes with cherry and dark walnut blades. Model 59174 comes with light gray oak and gray walnut blades. Read more.
This recall involves Westinghouse iGen2500 and iPro2500 portable inverter generators used to power appliances, cell phones or other electronic devices. The iGen2500 has a bright blue plastic cover and has "Westinghouse iGen2500" printed in white lettering on the side and on the front of the generator. The Westinghouse iPro2500 has a plastic gray cover. "Westinghouse iPro2500" is printed in white lettering on the side and front of the generator. The number of watts is also printed on the side. It reads 2200 Running Watts and 2500 Peak Watts. The generators measure about 20 inches long by 18 wide inches by 11 inches tall. They weigh about 49 pounds. Read more.
This recall involves all Firewood 4 vaporizers. The vaporizers measure 2 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches tall by 7/8 inches thick and have a sliding battery compartment cover. The body and battery cover of the vaporizers are wooden and were sold finished or unfinished. The Firewood logo is printed on the bottom of the vaporizers. Read more.
This recall involves 80% efficiency gas-fired furnaces sold under the Goodman, Amana and Daikin brand names used with home heating and cooling systems. The recalled products have model numbers beginning AMEH80, DM80HE, and GME8, and serial numbers beginning 1609, 1610, 1611 and 1612. The brand name is shown on the outside of the furnace, and the serial number is located on the label found by opening the furnace door. Read more.
This recall involves Goodman air handler models AWUF and ACNF (A = Air Handler; W = Wall Mount; C = Ceiling Mount; U = Unpainted; N = Uncased; F = Flowrater). The recalled air handlers are most often installed in apartment and condominium units and are used with heating and cooling systems to provide climate control. The AWUF model units are wall mounted, while ACNF model units are ceiling mounted. The recalled air handlers have serial numbers beginning with 1511, 1512, or 1601 through 1610. The serial number is located on the label found by removing the wall panel (for AWUF units) or ceiling panel (for ACNF units). Read more.
This expanded recall involves Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners (PTAC) and Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps (PTHP) sold under the Bryant, Carrier and Fast brand names. Recalled units include those with original power cords and those that received a replacement power cord as part of the 2007 recall. The recalled units have capacities of 7,000; 9,000; 12,000 and 15,000 BTUs and plug into 208/230-volt, 20-amp outlets. The following brands and models are being recalled: • Carrier models 52CE, 52CQ, 52PE, 52PQ, 52PC, 52ME, 53MQ; • Bryant models 840, 841, and 842; and • Fast models 840, 841, and 842. Model and serial numbers are located on the ratings/data plate on the right front of the unit, underneath the removable front panel. This recall involves three models of 7,000 and 8,000 BTU LG portable air conditioners including model numbers LP0711WNR, LP0813WNR, and LP0814WNR. The air conditioners are tan/white with the LG logo on the front. They measure about 30 inches tall, 12 inches wide and 14 inches deep and weigh 50 pounds. This recall involves KUL small, white portable fan heaters. The KUL logo is printed on the front bottom of the heaters next to the power dial. The fan heater measures about 9 inches long by 5 inches wide by 10.5 inches tall. The fans weigh about two pounds. An adhesive label is on the bottom of the heater with model number "KU39221" and "Date: 0715" in the lower right-hand corner. KUL black units were involved in the previous recall. Read more.
The recall includes Williamson and Thermoflo furnaces and boilers with Carlin oil burners with an installation date label between April 1, 2015 and November 31, 2015. The installation date is printed on a label on the outside of the furnace or boiler. Recalled furnaces have a Carlin burner inside of the furnace, behind the furnace grate. Recalled boilers have a Carlin burner attached to the outside of the boiler enclosure. "Carlin" is printed in white letters on the face of the burner nameplate. Read more.
This recall involves the Vitodens 200-W condensing gas boilers used for residential use. These wall-hung units are housed in a white metal box that measures about 43.5 inches tall by 19 inches wide by 21 inches deep. There are two models: B2HB-45 and B2HB-57 included in this recall. The name "Vitodens" and "Viessmann" are printed on the label on the outside of the boiler box. The product name and model number can be found on the boiler rating plate located on the left side of the white boiler cover. The serial number can be found on a separate label under the boiler cover or on the left hand side of the unit. Recalled boilers do not have a blue dot with a handwritten data label on it.
