This recall involves 12-ounce cans of Krylon ® Triple Thick Glaze and 11-ounce Krylon® Indoor/Outdoor Crystal Clear satin acrylic finish. Batch code HL1311FV, HL2081KL or HL2081MN is printed on the bottom of the can, along with UPC code 075577005000 or 724504035305. August 23, 2012 Mansfield Plumbing Products Recalls Bathtubs, Whirlpools and Air Massage Bathtubs Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves acrylic bathtubs, whirlpools and air massage baths sold in various colors and under ten product names: Avalon, Barrett, Baywood, Brentwood, Camden, Castille, Covington, Hampton, Montclair and Reo. The acrylic grab bars are affixed to the interior of the tubs about shoulder height from a seated position. The grab bars were sold in various styles and colors including white, brushed nickel, oil rubbed bronze, a polished brass finish and chrome. Read more.

August 21, 2012 LG Electronics and Sears Recall Gas Dryers For Repair Due to Fire Hazard

LG Electronics and Sears' Kenmore Elite brand gas dryers come in the following colors: LG models in white; Kenmore Elite® in red, white and ginger (gold). Model and serial numbers can be found on a label fixed to the front of the dryer above the opened door, which can be viewed only when the dryer door is open. To confirm if your dryer is part of this recall, identify both model and serial numbers, since not all dryers with the listed models are recalled. Read more.

August 16, 2012 Ceiling Fans Recalled by Emerson Air Comfort Products Due to Injury Hazard

This recall involves Emerson "Corsair" model ceiling fans with two blades and 44- or 52-inch blade spans. The fans were sold in two finishes, oil-rubbed bronze and antique pewter. Read more.

August 16, 2012 Gerber Recalls Machetes Due to Laceration Hazard

The recalled product is a curved blade machete with an overall length of 19.5 inches and a blade length of 13.5 inches. The handle is a dark gray textured rubber grip with wrist lanyard, orange trim and a stylized "BG" on it. The blade is marked with the "GERBER®" trademark and a stylized Bear Grylls trademark. The machete comes in a black nylon sheath with orange and gray trim. The machetes were sold separately or as one of the products in Gerber's Apocalypse Survival Kit. The model numbers are on the package. Model numbers are: 31-000698, which has "Survival Series" printed on the package; and 31-001507, which was sold only at Walmart. Model number 30-0006010 is for the Apocalypse Survival Kit, which includes a Parang machete among other items in a foldable black cloth case with "GERBER" printed in orange on the inside right. August 2, 2012 Sears Recalls Kenmore® Dehumidifiers Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves 35-, 50- and 70-pint dehumidifiers with a Kenmore logo on the front top of the unit, manufactured between 2003 and 2005. The dehumidifiers are made of white plastic and are between 21 and 24 inches tall, about 15 inches wide and about 13.5 inches in depth. They have fan and humidity controls on their top front panels and some models include remote controls. They come with front-loading water buckets. July 10, 2012 Bosch Recalls SkilSaw Miter Saws Due to Laceration Hazard

The recalled product is the SkilSaw® 10-inch compound miter saw, with model number 3316 and date codes 111, 112, 201, 202, 203 or 204. The model number and date code are on the lower right side of the name plate located on the motor housing. The SkilSaw logo appears at the top of the upper blade guard and on the dust collection bag.
