January 26, 2006 Electric Shock Hazard Prompts Recall of Electric Smokers

The recalled electric smokers include models BTST02 (stainless steel) and BTIS1 (black) and consist of a smoke generator, a smoke tower and two power cords. The model number appears on a silver label on the back of the smoker. The products have a "Bradley Smoker" logo on the door and at the bottom under the red light "Power Indicator." Read more.

January 24, 2006 Porter-Cable Recall to Repair Routers

The recalled Porter-Cable routers are tools used in conjunction with various bits to cut and shape wood. The model and serial numbers are printed on the nameplate on the top of the router. Routers marked with a "T" above "PORTER+CABLE" on the nameplate are not included in this recall. Read more.

January 11, 2006 Generac Power Systems Inc. Recall of Fuel Hoses Sold with Guardian Home Generators

The recalled 12 inch braided flex fuel hoses are used with Guardian® Home Standby Air-Cooled Generators with serial numbers 3789827 and below. The generators are about 4 feet by 2 feet by 2½ feet, tan in color, and have identification decal tags displaying the serial number. The decal tag is affixed to the black divider plate that separates the engine from the control panel and can be found by lifting the top/lid of the metal enclosure. The fuel hose came supplied with the generator kits and connects the fuel supply to the generator. The hose is 12 inches long and covered with braided steel. Read more.

December 20, 2005 CFM Corporation Recall of Legacy Propane Infrared Plaque Heaters

The heaters are propane infrared plaque space heaters sold after September 1, 2005. The units are rectangular in shape and the casing has a white finish. The heaters can be mounted on walls or stand on the floor. The name "Legacy" is centered on the front of the heater immediately below the grill. December 1, 2005 King of Fans Inc. Recall of Oil-Filled Radiator Heaters

The portable electric radiator-style heaters have seven fins, one of which has the control panel attached to it. The units are gray with a black control panel. "Maxi-Heat™" is printed below the handle indentation on the control panel. The model number 70030 and date codes 0705 and 0805 are printed on the UL label on the lower right side of the control panel. The following purchase order numbers are located on the bottom of the radiator heater's packaging: 56199910, 56199924, 56199961, 57105731, 57105732, 57100092, 57100089, 57100086, 57105685, and 57105686. November 29, 2005 Porter-Cable Recall to Repair Circular Saws

The recall involves Porter-Cable® 7¼-inch MAG-Saw™ Circular Saws with model numbers 324MAG (serial numbers 10001through 108962), 325MAG (serial numbers 10001through 014712), 423MAG (serial numbers 10001through 100371), and 424MAG (serial numbers 10001through 012690). The model and serial numbers are located on a label on the top of the saws. Units marked with a "T" at the location shown below have been inspected and are not affected by this recall. November 23, 2005 Louisville Ladder Inc. Recall of Industrial Ladders

The recalled ladders are Type 1A industrial ladders with fiberglass rails and round aluminum rungs, and include the 14 model numbers listed on the chart with manufacture dates and date codes from November 2004 through March 2005. The model number and the manufacture date code for all models except the FA1012 and FA1016 model ladder are located on the model number/notice label on the side rail of the ladders. November 22, 2005 Haier America Trading LLC Recall of Oscillating Electric Tower Fans

This recall involves a Haier oscillating electric tower fan, model FTM140GG. The gray tower fan has three speed settings and a 120-minute shut-off timer. "Haier" is printed on a silver label near the top of the front of the tower. The model number is printed on the lower back of the fan. No other Haier fans are included in this recall. Read more.

November 17, 2005 Retailers Recall of Waterless Vaporizers and Aromatherapy Diffusers

The recalled waterless vaporizers are white plastic with vents. The aromatherapy diffusers are ivory plastic with vents. Both are 5-inches wide by 3 ½-inches high. "Vapor-Eze," and "Waterless Vaporizer" are written on the top of the vaporizer. "Vapor-Eze" and "Aromatic Therapy" are written on the top of the diffuser. Model 1070, 2070 or 3070 and "Juv. Prod's.
