January 17, 2013 Floor Lamps Recalled by Dolan Northwest Due to Shock and Fire Hazards

This recall involves Burien model floor lamps with four individual light sockets and white glass shades on top of four individual tubes of varying lengths. The lamps are approximately 72 inches tall and were sold in stainless steel and bronze finishes. Model number 1117 and the date of manufacture in YYYY.MM format are printed on a label affixed to the underside of the base. Dates of manufacture included in the recall are between 2010.11 (Nov. 2011) and 2012.09 (Sept. 2012). Read more.


January 8, 2013 PLATINUM Neon Sign Power Supply Transformers Made by HEICO lighting Recalled Due To Fire Hazard

This recall involves neon power supply transformers designed to power commercial signs. They are in black metal boxes about 4.5 inches long by 3.5 inches wide with rows of vents on all sides. "HEICO LIGHTING™" and the model information are printed on a plate on the transformer. The recalled models include PLATINUM-9000-30, PLATINUM-10000-30, PLATINUM-12000-30, TFT-04PL-6000-30, and TFT-06PL-9000-30. Read more.


November 15, 2012 Ceiling-Mounted Light Fixtures Recalled by Dolan Northwest Due to Fire and Shock Hazards

This recall involves round ceiling-mounted light fixtures, satin nickel or bronze in color with a domed alabaster glass shade. The light fixture is 14 inches in diameter and 5.5 inches high and has two sockets marked “BO AN” that take 75 watt bulbs. The light fixtures were sold as Design Classics Model 562-09 and 562-30. The brand name and model number are on the inside of the fixture pan. Read more.


November 1, 2012 Atico International USA Recalls Halloween Mini Projection Lights Due to Burn Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Five Below

This recall involves plastic Halloween mini projection lights. They are about 6 inches long and have Halloween-themed black designs on them. They were sold in orange, green and purple. The projection lights came in a cardboard blister pack with a purple background. The phrase "Ghouloween" is printed on the upper left-hand corner. Read more.


October 31, 2012 Imagine Nation Books Recalls Double Dazzler Light Show Toys Due to Burn Hazard

The recalled product is a silver, plastic, baton-like toy with white plastic tubes at each end that become multi-colored spinning lights when operated. The wand or stick device is 10.5 inches long and has an "on" button in the center hold area. The battery pack is located at the center handhold location. The package states "DOUBLE DAZZLER LIGHT SHOW" and "Color Changing LEDs / Ages 8+ /Batteries Included." Read more.


August 29, 2012 Cooper Lighting Recalls Shower Light Trim and Glass Lens Due to Impact and Laceration Hazards

This recall involves All-Pro shower light trim models ERT701, RE-ERT 701, ERT702 and ERT703 with a glass lens and date codes 347 11 through 119 12. August 22, 2012 Energizer Recalls Night Lights Due to Burn Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Target

This recall involves Energizer LED rotating night lights. The night lights are white and have an LED light inside an adjustable dome on top. The night lights measure about 2 inches wide by 2 ½ inches long. Model number “ENLPLROT” and date codes between 0110 (for January 2010) through 0111 (for January 2011) are included in this recall. The model number is stamped onto the side of the night light. The date code is stamped in a circle on the back of the night light. The arrow points to the month of production (i.e. 12 = December) and the number positioned on either side of the arrow represents the year (i.e. “10” = 2010). Read more.


July 26, 2012 Motion Sensing Security Lights Recalled by HeathCo due to Electrical Shock Hazard

This recall involves Heath®/Zenith 270° Motion Security Lights with model number SL-5414-WH. It replaces a standard outdoor wall mounted light fixture and is designed to turn on when motion is detected at night. The product has two cone-shaped lightbulb receptacles attached to a round mounting plate. A small, rectangular motion sensor is attached to the mounting plate between the lightbulb receptacles. The unit is made of aluminum and plastic. It comes in white only. The brand name and model number are on a label located on the back of the motion sensor. Read more.

This recall involves white, straight track systems used to hold and power light fixtures. The recalled tracks are model numbers 00149242 and 10149246, supplier number 21338 and date stamp 1134 through 1213. The brand name IKEA, 365+ SÄNDA, supplier number and date stamp are printed on a white label attached to the side of the track. The recalled tracks are 28” and 45” long. Read more.


June 19, 2012 Bel Air Lighting Recalls Outdoor Wall Mount Lanterns Due to Fire, Burn and Shock Hazards

This recall involves outdoor wall-mount lanterns made of cast aluminum in a rust color with beveled glass. A question mark shaped piece of metal connects the lantern body to the wall-mount plate. The lanterns were sold at Lowe's stores under the Portfolio brand name with item number 253366 and at lighting showrooms with item number 44181. The brand name and item number are printed on the product's packaging. Lanterns included in the recall are 19.25-inches tall by 9.75-inches wide by 9.25-inches deep and have a three-light candelabra base cluster inside. Part number "E194303" is printed on the base plate and on a label affixed to one of the light sockets. Read more.
