February 18, 2016 BYA Sports Recalls Skyline Backyard Zipline Kits Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves BYA Sports Skyline backyard zipline kits sold in 60-, 75- and 90-foot cable lengths. The kits were sold in camouflage packaging containing a main cable, trolley, short cable, turnbuckle and u-clamps. The following bar codes are found on the bottom left side of the packaging: 7456111220012 (60-ft.), 7456111220029 (75-ft.), and 7456111220036 (90 ft.). The BYA logo and "Skyline (60, 75 or) 90 Zipline Kit" are printed on the front of the packaging. Read more.

January 28, 2016 Varaluz Recalls Longfellow Light Fixtures Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves all Longfellow model 3- and 4-light light fixtures for indoor or outdoor use. The black metal fixtures have a clear/frosted glass shade on four sides and can be wall mounted or ceiling mounted. Model number 731KL04EB, 731KM03EB, 731P03EB, 331P03BL, 731P04EB or 331P04BL is printed on the label on the canopy of the ceiling mounted fixtures or the backplate of wall mounted fixtures. This recall involves John Deere models Z445, Z645, Z655, and Z665 zero-turn mowers with serial numbers beginning with 1GXZ, manufactured from August 10, 2015 through September 9, 2015. A complete list of serial numbers included in this recall is on the firm's website. The mowers are green and yellow with yellow wheels. The model number is on the front of the machine, near the operator footrest. The serial number is located behind the seat, in front of the engine. Read more.

December 9, 2015 The Craftsman Brand Recalls Blower/Vacs Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves two models of Craftsman 12-amp electric blower/vacs. The blower/vacs have a red motor housing and a black blower tube and restrictor nozzle, and measure 12 inches high by 34 inches long. Blower/vacs with model number 138.74898 or 138.74899 are being recalled. Model 138.74898 has a variable speed switch and a serial number between SES0100001 and SES1951280. Model 138.74899 has a two-speed switch and a serial number between SER3561101 and SES2141280. The model number, serial number, "Craftsman" and "AC BLOWER / VAC" are printed on the side of the motor housing. Read more.

November 24, 2015 Exmark Recalls Quest Riding Mowers Due to a Fire Hazard

The 2015 Quest riding mowers are red black, and gray. "Exmark" is printed on the sides and in front of the operator seat. "Quest" is printed on the front of the riding mowers. The model number and serial number are located on a decal affixed to the frame, under the seat. The recalled mode number is QTS452CEM34200. This recall involved Mahindra eMax compact diesel tractors designed for residential use. They are red with a black seat. The model number and "Mahindra" are in white lettering on the each side of the hood. Serial numbers for the recalled models are located on the right side of the frame above the front axle. This recall involves STIHL edgers with model number FC 56 C, trimmer/brushcutters with model numbers FS 40 C, FS 50 C, FS 56 C and FS 56 RC, pole pruners with model number HT 56 C and KombiMotors with model number KM 56 RC. The model number is located on the starter cover at the rear of the engine. The engine size is about 28 cc. The products are gray and orange with "STIHL" on the engine cover. The red riding lawn mowers have a gray seat with a foam cushion, black arm rests and either black or gray joystick or twin lever steering. "Country Clipper" and the model name appear in black letters on the front under the seat and on the sides of the lawn mower. Recalled Country Clipper model numbers are as follows.
