June 21, 2011 MTD Recalls TrimmerPlus Edger Attachments Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves MTD TrimmerPlus™ Edger Attachment Model 41AJLE-C092 LE720. The edger is sold separately as an attachment and can be attached to most major brand attachment-capable trimmers. The edger is used to cut grass along an edge such as a driveway or sidewalk. "TrimmerPlus" and "LE720" are printed on the blade's housing. Only certain serial numbers "1C##1DR####" through "1D##1DR####" are included in the recall. The serial number and "MTD" are printed on white labels on the edger's pole. Read more.


June 9, 2011 Husqvarna Recalls TuffTorq Yard Tractors Due to Loss of Braking Ability

This recall involves orange, Husqvarna yard tractors with TuffTorq K46LD transaxle. Yard tractors included in the recall have model numbers YTH23V42LS and YTH24V48LS and serial numbers ranging from 050110A001000 to 123110D999999. The first six digits of the serial number is a date code. Tractors included in the recall have a serial date range of May 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010. This recall involves Kohler Courage twin-cylinder engines sold with three brands of lawn tractors: Husqvarna, Cub Cadet, and Troy-Bilt. The vertical-shaft gasoline engines range in horsepower from 20 to 25. Engines included in this recall have serial numbers with the first five digits beginning with 41028 through 41056. 2011 Exmark Pioneer S-Series zero radius turn riding mowers with red, welded, tubular steel frames and mowing decks in three sizes - 44, 48 and 52 inches. March 23, 2011 Gerber Legendary Blades Recalls Combo Axe Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves the Gerber Gator Combo Axe, which has a 7-inch knife in the hollow axe handle. The axe is approximately 8.75 inches long with an axe head that is 4.75 inches x 2.7 inches.
