May 30, 2007 Toy Drums Recalled by The Boyds Collection Ltd. Due to Lead Poisoning Hazard

The recalled decorative toy drums are made of wood and come with two wooden drum sticks. The sides of the drums are painted blue with white stars and the tops and bottoms feature an antique U.S. flag decoration. The Eli's Small Drum measures 4 ¾ inches in diameter and 3 ½ inches tall. The Liberty's Large Drum measures 6 ¾ inches in diameter and 4 inches tall. The Eli's Small Drum has item number 654933 printed on its hangtag and packaging. May 23, 2007 Tri-Star International Recalls Children's Toys Due to Choking Hazard

The recall involves three different types of toys. The ball rattle is a multi-colored, 3-inch ball with oval openings and a small hexagon opening at each end. The wrist rattle toy is a white plastic wristband toy with six multi-colored balls with small bells inside. The wind-up toy is a 7.5-inch pink giraffe with yellow legs and a green wind-up knob below the tail of the giraffe. Read more.


May 17, 2007 Mervyns Recalls Children's Capri Pants Due to Choking Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Mervyn's Stores

The recalled pants are Ellemenno brand Capri pants sold in girls' sizes 4, 5, 6, 6X, 7 and 8. The pants were sold in a variety of colors including light grey, tan, coral and light aqua blue. The pants are made of 100% cotton poplin and have a snap at the cuff, the waist band and on the pockets of the pants. Inside of the waistband are two clear buttons and a strip of enclosed elastic for adjusting the fit of the pants. "VN 69047" is printed on the product care label located inside the waist of the pants. Read more.

This recall involves Baby Buddy clip-on clothes/stroller books. The 4-inch round book titled "Baby Faces" displays eight babies making faces that correspond with the emotion listed on the page. May 16, 2007 Troy-Bilt Recalls Children's Gardening Gloves Due to Lead Poisoning Hazard

The Budding Gardener Complete Gardening Set included a wheel barrel, sprinkling can, pair of gardening gloves, hand tools and seeds. The gloves are yellow on one side and white with rubber dots on the other side. The gloves have a picture of four children in a field, with "The Budding Gardners" written in red around the picture. This recall involves a boys' three piece shorts set. The set consists of green plaid shorts, a polo-style solid shirt trimmed with a blue and green stripe, and a green plaid hat. The short sets were sold in three sizes: 2T, 3T and 4T. The style numbers are 20873H94 GRN and 40873H94 GRN, which was written on the hangtag attached.
