May 25, 2006 "Baby 2 Pack" Pacifiers Recalled for Choking Hazard

The recalled pacifiers are rubber nipples attached to a white or light blue plastic guard. The cardboard packaging has a picture of a baby, some toy blocks, a toy train engine and a diaper pin with a bear on it. The pacifiers are sold in packs of two. Writing on the front of the packaging includes, "Baby," "2 pack Pacifiers" and "BI194." The back of the packaging has an American flag and the writing, "AN AMERICAN COMPANY." Read more.


May 18, 2006 Rainbow Play Systems Recalls Swing Seats for Fall Hazard

The recall involves sling swing seats sold as an accessory with Carnival, Sunshine, and Rainbow Series residential play structures manufactured by Rainbow Play Systems, Inc. The seats are about 25 inches in length and were sold in red, yellow, blue and green with 64-inch yellow or green dipped chains. The seats have pointed ends with three black dots and black grommets. May 11, 2006 Adventure Playsets Recalls Swing Sets - Detaching Frames Pose Fall Hazard

The recalled swing set models include: The Durango, Tacoma, Odyssey, Bellvue, Monarch, Grand Teton and Outlook II. The swing sets are made of wood, and feature various types of slides, swings and a fabric canopy over part of the structure. May 9, 2006 Bicycle Child Carriers Recalled Due to Fall Hazard

The carrier is a seat for a child that is attached to the back of an adult bicycle. The carrier is gray plastic with a blue rubber back and seat pad, a gray head rest, and black straps. Model number SW571T is printed on the carrier's packaging and in the owner's manual. "PTI" is printed on a yellow warning sticker on the back of the carrier seat. Read more.



May 4, 2006 Slingshots Recalled by Daisy Manufacturing Due to Risk of Serious Eye Injury

The two metal frame slingshots being recalled are the Daisy Models ERG-100 and ERG-300, marketed under the name "The Natural." The model number is written on the packaging. These slingshots have an offset fork design, a sling made of bright green tubing with a black leather ammunition pouch and small balls inside the tubing where it connects to the frame. Both models have black plastic handles. The smaller ERG-100 model has the words "Powerline Daisy Mfg. Rogers, AR" on the handle while the same words are found on the adjustable wrist brace of the larger ERG-300 model. This voluntary recall does not apply to Daisy's Powerline Slingshots models F16, B52 and P51, which have yellow tubing. Read more.


May 4, 2006 Regal Lager Inc. Recall to Repair Phil & Teds Twin Strollers

The recalled Phil & Teds e3 twin buggy has a metal frame and side by side cloth seats. The strollers were sold in a variety of colors including red, orange, black, charcoal grey and navy. "e3 twin" is embroidered on the front of each seat and the Phil & Teds logo is printed on the crotch piece of each harness. Read more.
