This recall involves the Monoprice Category 6 Ethernet Bulk CMR Communications cable. It is designed to prevent fires from spreading between floors through risers and vertical shafts. They contain 100% pure copper wire and are primarily used to wire your home or office for a high-speed network. The cables were sold in a variety of colors including yellow, white, blue, black, red, orange, gray, pink and purple. The cables came in various lengths including 250, 500 and 1000 foot spools. This recall involves Leviton 50-ampere, non-NEMA electrical connectors, plugs, receptacles and inlet attachment devices. The recalled connection devices are used to transmit power to electrical equipment that is not hard-wired to a power source. Leviton is printed on the devices. March 12, 2020 Yamaha Recalls Digital Wireless Equipment for Electric Guitars Due to Fire and Injury Hazards

This recall involves Line 6 Relay G10, G10S (G10SR), and G10T Digital Wireless Guitar System (G10 Family of Products) that allows an electric guitar to be connected wirelessly to an amplifier. The system consists of a transmitter, a receiver, and a charger. The receivers have both a 1/4" and XLR output to connect to an amplifier or other audio equipment. The products are black in color. The Relay G10T transmitter is stamped "Relay G10" and has a four-digit date code followed by a six-digit individual serial number. June 5, 2019 Apple Recalls Three-Prong Wall Plug Adapters Included in World Travel Adapter Kit Due to Risk of Electric Shock

This recall involves three-prong AC wall plug adapters included in the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit sold before February 2015. The kits contain three-prong and two-prong AC wall plug adapters that fit different electrical outlets worldwide. The recalled adapters were made for use primarily in the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Hong Kong and were also sold with Mac computers and iOS devices. The recalled three-prong AC wall plug adapters are white with no letters on the inside slot where it attaches to an Apple power adapter. December 9, 2014 Lenovo Recalls Computer Power Cords Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves Lenovo's LS-15 AC power cord manufactured from February 2011 to December 2011. The power cords were distributed with IdeaPad brand B-, G-, S-, U-, V- and Z-series laptop computers and Lenovo brand B-, G- and V-series laptop computers. The recalled power cords are black in color and have the "LS-15" molded mark on the AC adapter end. The manufacture date code in the format REV: 00 YYMM is on a label attached to the cord. July 17, 2014 Popkiller Recalls USB Chargers, Adapters and Cables Due to Fire and Electric Shock Hazards

This recall involves Popkiller mini USB car charger power adapters, universal USB power adapters and 8-pin USB data sync charging cables. The car charger has model number HHT-001 located on the flat side of the charger below the USB port. The charger measures 2 inches tall and 1 inch in diameter at its widest point. The Universal USB Power adapter has model number A1265 printed directly above the plug blades on the grey surface. The adapter measures 1.5 inches at its longest point and 1 inch wide. There is no model number printed on the 8-pin USB charging cables. All of the recalled products are sold separately and come in the colors red, orange, green, blue, purple and pink. Read more.


May 15, 2014 Legrand Wiremold Expands Recall of Under-Cabinet Power Strips Due to Electric Fire Hazard

This recall involves all Wiremold and Plugmold under-cabinet power and lighting strips with part number PX1001. The recalled power strips have four outlets and one fluorescent light and were manufactured from January 2011 through December 2013. From January 2011 through June 2012, the power strip came in a red package with the words "Legrand" and "Under Cabinet Power and Lighting" on the top front and "Wiremold-Series Part PX1001" on the bottom front. From July 2012 to April 2013, the power strip came in a white package with the word "Legrand" on the top front and "Plugmold Power Light," "Under-Cabinet Power and Lighting" and "PX1001" on the bottom front. The manufacture date code is on the bottom of the recalled power strip in a circle with the year shown as "11," "12" or "13" in the center and an arrow pointing to the number representing the month. This recall involves APC 7 and 8 series SurgeArrest surge protectors manufactured before 2003. The model and serial numbers are located on a label on the bottom of the surge protector. The two numbers that follow the first letter or letters in the serial number sequence indicate the year of manufacture. The unit is included in the recall if the numbers are 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01 or 02. APC and the words Personal, Professional, Performance or Network are printed on the surge protectors. This recall involves four-outlet under-cabinet power and lighting strips model number PX1001. The power strips come in a red package with "Wiremold-Series Part PX1001" printed on the front. The manufactured dates of the recalled products are presented as product date codes January 2011 through June 2012, and are found imprinted on a circle on the bottom with an arrow pointing to the number of the month and the year "11" or "12" in the center. The model number PX1001, and UPC number 0 86698 00125 3, are imprinted on the bottom of the packaging.
