October 4, 2016 Office Depot Recalls Winsley Chairs Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves Winsley Mid-Back Chairs. The adjustable chairs come in black or white and have a silver base with five wheels. The recalled chairs have the Office Depot SKU number 388262 (black) or Nu907932 (white) or the OfficeMax item #25100033 (black) or #25100649 (white) and the US REG. September 29, 2016 Walmart Recalls Tripod Stools Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves Mahco Inc. tripod stools with three steel legs and a REALTREE logo pattern camouflage polyester fabric seat. The steel legs have plastic caps on both ends and a round plastic hub that connects the three legs. The stools measure about 17 inches high by 13 inches wide. There is a black polyester carry strap attached to the bottom of the stool seat. Mahco Inc. is printed on an orange and black hang tag attached to the stools. Read more.

September 15, 2016 Bungee Chairs Sold Exclusively at Big 5 Sporting Goods Stores Recalled Due to Fall Hazard; Made by Nanjing Kekang Outdoor Products

This recall involves Captiva Designs bungee chairs with model number AC098 printed on the header cards of the product packages. The collapsible chair has a navy blue and teal nylon and bungee seat and black metal legs. The chair's bungee cords are laced through the seat frame. Read more.

June 28, 2016 Following an Additional Child Fatality, IKEA Recalls 29 Million MALM and Other Models of Chests and Dressers Due to Serious Tip-Over Hazard; Consumers Urged to Anchor Chests and Dressers or Return for Refund

The recalled children's chests and dressers are taller than 23.5 inches and adult chests and dressers are taller than 29.5 inches. The 29 million units of recalled chests and dressers include: MALM 3-drawer, 4-drawer, 5-drawer and three 6-drawer models and other children's and adult chests and dressers. The MALM chests and dressers are constructed of particleboard or fiberboard and are white, birch (veneer), medium brown, black-brown, white stained oak (veneer), oak (veneer), pink, turquoise, gray, gray-turquoise, lilac, green, brown stained ash (veneer), and black. A 5-digit supplier number, 4-digit date stamp, IKEA logo, country of origin and "MALM" are printed on the underside of the top panel or inside the side panel. Since 1996, IKEA chests and dressers have been labeled to identify IKEA, the model name and the manufacturing date. Read more.

This recall involves Grand Rapids Chair Company Sadie chairs (model 837) and barstools (model 837S). The model number is printed on the underside of the chair, on the care and use instruction label. The chairs have a seat height of 18.5" and overall width of 22.5", and the barstools have a seat height of 30" and overall width of 22.5". The Sadie chairs have a steel frame of various colors with a wood seat base and seatback. The Sadie barstools have a steel frame of various colors, with a footrest and a wood seat base and seatback. May 25, 2016 Noble House Recalls Counter Stools Due to Laceration Hazard

This recall involves Noble House's Louigi and Tate counter stools with solid wood legs and a metallic kick pate. The Louigi black leather counter stool has a backrest and measures about 18 inches wide by 26 inches deep by 41 inches tall. The backless Tate counter stools were sold in white or brown and measure about 16.5 inches wide by 16.5 inches deep by 27 inches tall. "MADE BY: PERMAISURI CO., LTD: No. 30 YUANCUO ROAD HONGSHANQIAO, FUZHOU, FUJIAN 350002 CHINA" is stamped on a tag on the underside of the stool's seat. Read more.

This recall involves T.J. Maxx and Marshalls foldable weatherproof lounge chairs. The chairs are made of an acacia wood frame and striped fabric in two styles: a natural oiled wood frame with red and white stripe fabric or a white gloss frame with blue and white stripe fabric. The chairs measure about 30 inches high by 42 inches long when unfolded. The style number is printed on the hang tag attached to the chair. "MADE IN VIETNAM" is printed on a label on the bottom of the chair frames. May 20, 2016 BESTAR Recalls Juvenile Dressers Due to Tip-over Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves Bestar Dream Dressers. The dressers are juvenile five-drawer dressers sold as part of the Juvenil four-piece children's bedroom set. The dressers were sold in the colors brown and white. The dressers are 48 inches high, 30 inches wide and 16 inches deep, and weigh about 108 lbs. They have a melamine resin surface and the drawer handles have a matte chrome finish. The brown dresser is model number 49250-1152 and the white dresser is model number 49250-1117. The model number is on the box and the brochure. Both dressers have UPC number 063753045292 on the box and the brochure. Read more.

This recall involves Room & Board's Doyle arm chairs and side chairs. The wood chairs were sold with and without an upholstered seat and in five different finishes: Charcoal, cherry, maple, shell and walnut. Each chair has a barcode printed on a label located under the seat on the inside of the seat frame. "Room & Board-Handcrafted in Vermont" is inscribed on the seat frame next to the barcode. The Saddle bar and counter stools have solid wood legs with a pecan-stained finish and were sold in four upholstery options: elephant leather, crosshatch steel/ivory, slate chevron and iron basketweave. The seat height for the bar stools is 30.5 inches with overall dimensions of 20.5 inches wide by 20 inches deep by 41 inches tall. The seat height for the counter stools is 26 inches with overall dimensions of 20.5 inches wide by 20 inches deep by 37.5 inches high. SKU numbers are located on the box of the product, the customer receipt and on a sticker on the bottom of the seat.
