July 20, 2007 Reclining Lounge Chairs Sold at Menards Stores Recalled for Collapsing Hazard

This recall involves Rockingham deluxe reclining lounge chairs. The folding lounge chairs have an orange mesh covering that attaches to a steel frame by a woven cord. The high-back chairs measure 40-inches long by 28-inches wide by 46-inches high and have a padded headrest. A hangtag attached to the chair reads in part "Backyard Creations" and "Deluxe Rockingham Reclining Chair." Read more.


June 26, 2007 Bond Manufacturing Co. Issues Recall for Folding Recliner Chairs That Can Collapse and Injure Users

The recalled recliner chairs have a mesh covering attached to the steel frame by a woven cord. The chairs were sold in the following colors: bronze, navy blue, spa blue, spa green, spa linen, orange, lime, teal and taupe. May 9, 2007 Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® Restaurants Recall Rooster Kitchen Stools Due to Collapse Hazard

The Rooster Kitchen Stool is about two feet tall and one foot in diameter. It has light brown wood and has a rooster painted on the seat. "Made in China" and item number 260161 are printed on a sticker under the seat. Read more.


April 12, 2007 Flat Panel TV Tilt-Mount Brackets Recalled by Circuit City Stores Inc. Due to Risk of Falling Units

The recalled tilt-mount brackets for flat panel televisions are sold under Circuit City's private label, "Verge." The two model numbers involved in this recall are VPSW103M and VPSW103M2. "Verge" and the model numbers are written on the packaging. There is no writing on the brackets. The brackets were sold individually and through an installation package. Read more.

The footstool is a natural-colored wood footstool. The standing surface is 11 1/2-inches by 11 1/2-inches with a 4-inch-long oval opening in the center. The stool is 11 1/2-inches tall.
