Recalls: Nursery Equipment and Supplies

The recalled IKEA children's SMILA-series wall-mounted lamps were sold in eight designs, including a blue star, yellow moon, pink flower, white flower, red heart, green bug, blue seashell and an orange seahorse. The blue star is the STJÄRNA model with article numbers 501.944.49 or 500.108.79. The yellow moon is the MÅNE model with article numbers 701.944.48 or 700.108.40. The pink flower is the BLOMMA model with article numbers 901.944.47 or 000.979.50. The white flower is the BLOMMA model with article number 300-746-50. The red heart is the HJÄRTA model with article numbers 202.256.59 or 801.993.13. The green bug is the BAGGE model with article numbers 101.944.46 or 700.728.71. The blue seashell is the SNÄCKA model with article number 400-982-50. The orange seahorse is the SJÖHÄST model with article number 900-982-43. The model name is printed on a label on the inside back of the lamp near the light bulb. The article number is printed on the lamp's packaging. The plastic wall-mounted children's lamps measure about 11 inches high by 11 inches wide. They have a 7 ft. long electrical cord with an in-line switch and take a 25-watt light bulb. Read more.

The recall involves the Movement and Sound Monitor manufactured by Angelcare. This design of baby monitor includes a unique sensor pad placed inside the crib, under the mattress, to monitor movement of the baby. An electrical cord about 11 feet long is permanently connected from the sensor pad to the nursery monitor unit. The hazard is created by a cord within reach of a baby inside the crib. The cord can be pulled into the crib and can wrap around the child's neck. The recall involves all versions of Angelcare sensor monitors including model numbers: AC1100, AC201, AC300, AC401 AC601 and 49255 that did not include rigid cord covers, offered in the remedy. The model number is located on the back of the nursery monitor unit. The monitors were manufactured between 1999 and 2013. Read more.

This recall involves the Lullaby Cradle Glider manufactured by Dream On Me Inc. The cradle is made of solid pine with slats on all four sides and a base that has a gliding side-to-side motion. The inner dimensions of the cradle measure 34.5 inches by 20.5 inches and includes a mattress pad and four wheels for easy movement. The cradle is sold in one design, four colors 640-C, cherry; 640-W,white; 640-E, espresso; and 640-N, natural. A label identifying the date of manufacture as October 2011 is located on the mattress support board. Read more.

This recall involves Rockland Furniture round cribs with model number 343-8314. The model number is printed on a label located on the inner-lower portion of the crib rail. The cribs are 44 ½ inches in diameter and were sold in white, ebony and cherry finishes. Read more.

This recall includes Baby Einstein Musical Motion Activity Jumpers with model number 90564. The model number can be found on a tag attached to the underside of the seat. These stationary activity centers have a support seat covered in blue fabric attached to a large white metal frame and include a variety of brightly colored toys surrounding the seat. The yellow sun toy is attached to the seat frame on a flexible stalk with either three or five brightly colored rings. A date code is located in the lower right corner of the sewn in label on the back of the blue seat pad. The following date codes, indicating a manufacture date prior to November 2011, are included in the recall: OD0, OE0, OF0, OG0, OH0, OI0, OJ0, OK0, OL0, OA1, OB1, OC1, OD1, OE1, OF1, OG1, OH1, OI1, OJ1 and OK1. An oval-shaped arm rail runs from the seat back and connects two side posts and the seat front post. There are three spinning toys on the front of the seat rail above the front post. "Thermobaby Z.I. This recall includes all BeBeLove E-Zee™ Bath Seats. The recalled products are plastic bath seats designed for children between 5 and 10 months old. They have a white base with suction cups on the bottom, a back/arm support, a detachable back support bar that folds under the seat for storage and a detachable T-bar front stabilizer that folds forward for entry. The back/arm support is gray, blue or pink. "Made in Taiwan" and "BBL" are engraved on the underside of the seat base and "BeBeLove" is printed on a sticker in the center of the back/arm support. This recall involves Pottery Barn Kids Sweet Lambie Bumpers manufactured from April 2009 through July 2012. The cotton bumpers are padded and fit standard cribs. Lambs in grass and lambs with trees are embroidered on the interior and exterior of the bumpers. They were available in the colors pink, blue and ivory/oatmeal. Model number "708859," "708917" or "7988348" and "Sweet Lambie Bumper" appear on a tag fastened to the bottom edge of the bumpers. The date of manufacture in MM/YYYY format is printed on a tag attached to the bumper near the model number tag. Read more.
