Recalls: All Terrain Vehicles (ATV)
Yamaha has announced a voluntary recall of certain 2005 and 2006 Yamaha Bruin 250, Bruin 350 4WD and 2WD, Big Bear 400, Kodiak 400, and Kodiak 450 ATVs, and certain 2006 Wolverine 450 ATVs. Below is a list of make, model and vehicle identification numbers (VIN) involved in the recall. Read more.
The recalled vehicles are model year 2006 Outlander 800 H.O. XT Bombardier ATVs. The model numbers affected are 2J6A and 2J6E. The model numbers are located in the serial number on the identification sticker under the seat. The ATVs have the words, "Bombardier" and "Rotax 800" on the fenders. Read more.
The recall includes 2001 through 2005 Prairie and Brute Force Kawasaki ATVs. The following Kawasaki ATV models are included in this recall: Prairie 300, Prairie 300 4x4, Prairie 360, Prairie 360 4x4, Prairie 400, Prairie 400 4x4, Prairie 650 4x4, Prairie 700 4x4, and Brute Force 650 4x4. The model numbers can be found on the identification label located on the frame of the ATV. "Prairie" or "Brute Force" is printed on each side of the vehicle's gas tank. Read more.
The recall includes all 2004-2005 Suzuki LT-V700F TwinPeaks™ ATVs. These ATVs are yellow or blue in color and have "TwinPeaks" written on the fuel tank. Read more.
The recalled 9-inch ATV aftermarket rear wheels have a model number of 0990 YHR. The rear wheels were manufactured from February 15, 2005 through May 2005. The recalled wheel can be used as the rear wheel on ATVs having the following bolt patterns: four bolts on a 110mm circle or four bolts on a 115mm circle. The center section of the wheel is made of aluminum and has eight bolt holes. Read more.
Only select model year Polaris ATVs are part of this recall. The Sportsman ATV model and serial number identification decal is located on the front side of the front radiator covering. The Scrambler 500 ATV model and serial number identification decal is located on top of the front cab cover. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), or serial number is also permanently stamped into the left frame rail behind the left front wheel of all Polaris ATVs. Affected units can be verified by comparing the last six digits of the VIN to the serial number range in bold typed below. NOTE: Not all 2004.5 and 2005 model year vehicles are affected. Only Model LT-A400FK5 ATVs with ending VIN from 57104462 through 57105157, Model LT-F400FK5 ATVs with ending VIN from 57103131 through 57103730, and Model LT-A500FK5 ATVs with ending VIN from 57105616 through 57106276 are included in the recall. (Note: not all VINs within the above ranges are affected.) The VIN is stamped on the ATV frame and can be seen by looking between the left rear tire and fender. Read more.

Model year 2005 PW80 and TTR90 Off-Road Motorcycles and Grizzly 125 ATVs. These 2005 model year ATVs have “Grizzly 125” written on both sides of the bodywork. The ATVs are either hunter green, steel blue, or Realtree Hardwoods® High Definition Camouflage. These 2005 model year off-road motorcycles have either “PW80” or “TT-R90” written on both sides of the bodywork. The off-road motorcycles are blue and white. Read more.
