Model year 2004 and 2005 Bombardier DS650 ATVs under model numbers 0003A5A00, 0003A5B00, 0003B5A00, 0003B5B00, 000799700, 000799500, 000771900, and 000771700 are part of this recall. March 24, 2005 Arctic Cat Inc. Recall of All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs)

The recalled includes 2005 Arctic Cat 500 and 650 FIS, and 400 and 500 TBX model ATVs. The FIS models affected by this recall have the vehicle identification number (VIN) ranges of 4UF05ATV15T226237 through 4UF05ATV15T242874, and 4UF05ATV55T246510 through 4UF05ATV55T248189. The TBX models have VIN ranges of 4UF05ATV15T221345 through 4UF05ATV15T223967, and 4UF05ATVX5T251024 through 4UF05ATV55T251397. The VIN is located on the left rear frame tube of the vehicle near the upper shock mount. Read more.


March 16, 2005 American Suzuki Motor Corporation Recall of 2004-2005 Vinson and 2005 KingQuad All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs)

Suzuki 2004-2005 model year LT-A500F Vinson, Suzuki 2004-2005 model year LT-F500F Vinson, and Suzuki 2005 model year LT-A700X KingQuad ATVs. Suzuki Vinson and KingQuad ATVs are adult-size ATVs designed for use by riders age 16 and older. Suzuki dealers sold these ATVs nationwide between July 2003 and February 2005. These ATVs are available in yellow, green, red or camouflage and have the model name (Vinson or KingQuad) on the side of the fuel tank. March 14, 2005 Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. Recall of Kawasaki Prairie™ 700 ATVs

The recalled Kawasaki ATVs include the Prairie™ KVF700-D1 4x4 model, which were manufactured between June 2004 and February 2005. The ATVs come in green and red and have the words "Kawasaki" and "Prairie" printed on each side of the vehicle's fuel tank. Read more.


February 28, 2005 Kawasaki Motors Corp. USA Recall of ATVs

The recalled Kawasaki ATVs include the Brute Force™ 750 4x4i model, which was manufactured between April 26, 2004 and September 10, 2004. The ATVs come in red, green, yellow or camouflage, and have the words "Kawasaki" and "Brute Force" printed on each side of the vehicle's fuel tank. "VTwin 750" is printed on each side of the rear fenders, and "Kawasaki" is embossed on the front grille and rear mud flaps above the rear wheels. Sold at: Authorized Kawasaki dealers sold the ATVs from July 2004 through early September 2004 for about $7,599. The recall includes all of Kolpin Powersports' 2004 model year Youth ATVs purchased prior to November 24, 2004. The Youth ATVs are black with gray trim and have gray metallic and flame graphic decals. A "KOLPIN" decal is present on each side of the gas tank. September 27, 2004 Polaris Industries Recall of ATVs Dispensers

All model year 2004 "Sportsman 700 EFI" ATVs with model numbers A04CH68CU, A04CH68AU, A04CH68AP, and A04CH68AQ are part of this recall. The model number is on the rear upper frame tube located directly under the right side of the seat. The ATVs have black seats with a grey, red, and black chassis. "700 Sportsman" is prominently displayed on the right and left side of the chassis, body and fuel tank, and "EFI" is displayed on the instrument/headlight pod. Read more.
