January 23, 2007 Arctic Cat Recalls Model Year 2007 90cc Youth Model ATVs

The recall includes 2007 model 90cc DVX youth model ATVs within the VIN range of RFB07ATV07K6F0243 through RFB07ATVX7K6F0752, and 90cc Utility youth model ATVs within the VIN range of RFB07ATV07K6D1367 through RFB07ATVX7K6D2400. The range refers to the last six characters of the VIN. These models are designed for used by operators 12 years old and older. The 90cc DVX model is available in Lime Green or Red, and has the model name DVX 90 on each side of the fuel tank, and Arctic Cat on each side of the seat. The 90cc Utility model is available in Marsh Green or Red, and has the name Arctic Cat on each side of the fuel tank and 90 on each side panel near operator's leg position. Read more.

January 10, 2007 Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. Recalls 2007 KFX50 and KFX90 All-Terrain Vehicles

The recall involves Kawasaki 2007 model year KSF50B7F (KFX50) and KSF90A7F (KFX90) All Terrain Vehicles. These are 50cc and 90cc models designed for use by operators 6 years of age and older (KFX50) and 12 years and older (KFX90). They are available in Lime Green or White, and have "Kawasaki" and "KFX50" or "KFX90" on the sides of the bodywork below the handlebars. Read more.

January 3, 2007 Nitrous Oxide Systems Recalls Snowmobile and ATV NOS Kit Bottles that Can Forcefully Burst

NOS kits for these vehicles provide extra power for the engine. The recall involves certain NOS nitrous oxide systems designed for snowmobiles and ATVs. The valves were manufactured between February 1, 2006 and September 26, 2006. The date code is located on the NOS packaging. Read more.

November 8, 2006 Warn Industries Inc. Recalls Eight-Post ATV Winch Kits for Overheating

This recall involves eight-post contactors used on certain 2,500 to 3,500 lb Warn ATV and Utility Vehicle Winch Kits. The black contactors were sold as a part of winch kits and have a "WARN" logo on the top and bottom of the contactor. Warn part number 62135 is printed on the bottom. Contactors are found on the vehicle attached to the power wires, between the battery and the winch. The contactor has four holes for securing it to the vehicle. October 19, 2006 Kawasaki Motors Corp., USA Recalls ATV for Loss of Steering Control Hazard

The recall involves 2007 model year Kawasaki KLF250A7F ATVs. These are 4-wheel ATVs sold under the brand name Kawasaki Bayou 250. They are available in red, green, or white, and the words "Kawasaki" and "Bayou" are on the sides, and "250" on the rear fender. Read more.

July 24, 2006 American Suzuki Motor Corp. Recalls All-Terrain Vehicles

Only Suzuki 2006 model year LT-A400K6, LT-A400FK6 and LT-F400FK6 model ATVs with certain vehicle identification numbers are included in this recall. Refer to the VIN at www.suzukicycles.com. The vehicle identification number is located on the left rear side of the ATV frame. Eiger, printed in white letters, and QuadRunner and Suzuki are written on the side of the ATV. July 3, 2006 Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. Recalls All-Terrain Vehicles for Fire Hazard

Bombardier brand Model Year 2006 Outlander 650 and 800 ATVs and Some Can-Am brand Model Year 2007 Outlander 650 ATVs. Serial numbers are located on the front of the ATV on the identification decal. The ATVs were available in yellow, green, red, and camouflage. Read more.

Only Suzuki 2006 model year LTR450K6 model Quad Racer ATVs with vehicle identification numbers ending with 00089 through 11626 are included in this recall. The vehicle identification number is located on the lower left side of the ATV frame. QuadRacer, printed in white letters, and R450 and Suzuki are written on the side of the ATV.
