October 10, 2018 Canyon Recalls Mountain Bikes Due to Crash Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves model year 2018 Canyon Spectral full-suspension mountain bikes with aluminum chainstays. The bicycle's chainstays are the aluminum tubes that run from the bottom bracket to the axle of the rear wheel. They were sold in black/red, black/blue, gray/orange, red, and black. Canyon is printed on the downtube. Spectral is printed on the top tube. The recalled women and men's mountain bikes have the following models numbers: M71 Spectral CF 9.0 PRO, M71 Spectral CF 8.0, M53 Spectral AL 6.0, M74 Spectral WMN CF 7.0, M50 Spectral WMN 6.0. September 27, 2018 TerraTrike Recalls Adult Tricycles Due to Crash Hazard

These recalled products are TerraTrike adult, pedal powered, orange, green or yellow tricycles. They have two wheels in the front and one wheel in the back and a black canvas seat. Recalled models include: TerraTrike Rambler x16 (orange), Rambler All Terrain (green) and Rambler E.V.O. (yellow). The trikes, depending upon model, come with either three 20-inch wheels or three 24-inch wheels. The model names are located on the outrigger tubes that come out of the main tube and connect to the front wheels. The serial numbers included in this recall are listed on the firm's website at www.terratrike.com and are located under the main tube on a barcoded sticker near the rear wheel. August 2, 2018 Clean Republic Recalls Hill Topper Electric Bike Motor Controllers Due to Crash and Injury Hazards

This recall involves Hill Topper Electric Bike Kits with motor controller circuit boards used to convert regular bicycles to electric bicycles. The motor controller circuit boards, 24V/250W and 36V/350W, were sold separately as well as part of the kits. This recall involves Rollerblade-branded Helmets R Us helmets, used in schools' physical education programs. The recalled helmets are white and Rollerblade is printed on the side in black. They were manufactured from September 2011 through April 2017. Model 16, SK-501N and the manufactured date (in MM/YYYY format) are printed on a label on the inside of the helmet. This recall involves Specialized Fuse Comp and Fatboy SE bicycles with Stout cranks. The bikes come in Gloss Hyper/Black Clean and Satin Gloss Black/Rocket Red for Fuse Comp and Gloss Warm Charcoal/Black/Gallardo Orange and Satin Oak Green/Blac/Rocket Red for Fatboy SE. Only cranks with "STOUT" written on either crankarm and equipped with a direct-mount chainring manufactured in 2017 are affected.
