February 26, 2018 Allen Sports Recalls Folding Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves Allen Sports model Ultra1 and UltraX carbon fiber folding bicycles. "ULTRA X" or "ULTRA ONE" are printed on the bicycle's frame. Both bicycles were sold in black, have 20 speeds and wheel sizes of 451MM. The Ultra One weighs about 21 pounds and the Ultra X weighs about 18 pounds. Read more.


February 15, 2018 Specialized Bicycle Components Recalls Bicycles Due to Crash Hazard

This recall involves all model year 2018 Specialized Allez (Base), Allez Sport, and Allez Elite road racing bicycles. The recalled bicycles have an alloy frame and composite fork. "Specialized" is printed on the downtube, "Allez" is printed on the bottom of each fork leg and "FACT" is printed on the inside of the left fork leg. December 27, 2017 Rocky Mountain Bicycles Recall Mountain Bicycles Due to Crash Hazard

This recall involves all model year 2018 Altitude, Instinct and Pipeline mountain bicycles. The carbon fiber and aluminum bicycles were sold in different colors. The model name is printed on a sticker on the top tube of the bicycles. Rocky Mountain is printed on the down tube. The Rocky Mountain logo is also printed on the headbadge on the headtube. December 21, 2017 Brompton Bicycle Recalls Bicycles Due To Fall Hazard

This recall involves Folding Brompton bicycles with "Brompton" printed on the bicycle's frame. Only bicycles with serial numbers 1403284144 to 1705150001 (manufactured from April 2014 through May 2017) are included in the recall. The serial number is printed on a curved plate or sticker, applied to the rear of the seat tube. If the barcode sticker on the bike is faded or rubbed off, submit the six digit frame number stamped into the metal plate behind the bottom bracket and seat tube via email to support@brompton.com to receive the correlating serial number.
