Recalls: Pools and Water Sports
This recall involves Sevylor brand River Racer inflatable rubber tubes. The recalled tubes are black, 36 inches in diameter and about 15 inches tall. Each tube seats one person. The tubes have the Sevylor logo and name, and the River Racer logo and name printed in blue on the outer side. Model number 2000014090 is located on the inner side of the tube below the bottom left corner of the English language warning. Read more.
The 1X and the Overdrive 1X control systems are both comprised of a light-weight control bar to control and depower the kite, a set of flying lines and a harness loop/quick release (QR) mechanism. Both products have an orange and black EVA grip and a new QuickLoop™ harness loop/QR. The Recoil™ spring mounted along the depower mainline is used to maintain the position of the trim adjusters. The 1X control system (model number KS51XCSFX) is a fixed length and is available in two sizes: 45 cm and 55 cm. The Overdrive 1X (model number KS5CSSDODO) is adjustable between two bar lengths and comes in sizes: 48-56 cm and 57-62 cm. This recall involves NRS "Chaos Side Cut" helmets used for water sports, including rafting, kayaking, stand-up paddling and canoeing. The helmet's hard shell is available in yellow, red, blue or white. "NRS" is printed on the front and back of the helmet. The recalled helmets have a black "Boa" dial-fit retention harness inside at the back of the helmet. "Boa" is printed on the dial. "Chaos" and PO#39225 are printed on a white sticker inside of the helmet. Helmets with an "Inspected" sticker inside the shell under the Boa dial are not included in this recall. Read more.
This recall involves the Aladin2 wrist dive computer that monitors depth, dive time, decompression status and temperature. The computer is 3 inches by 3 inches, rectangular, black, and mounted on a black wristband. SCUBAPRO is stamped on the top of the face frame and Aladin2 is printed in white on the bottom of the face frame. The serial number is stamped in white on the back of the unit and ends with 003. They are plumbed into the pool's water circulation pipes and plugged in or hard-wired into an electrical system. The pool's water runs through the unit and is sanitized by ultraviolet lamps. This is a secondary sanitation system used in conjunction with chemical sanitizers such as chlorine or bromine. "Trident Ultraviolet Corporation," "Series 2" and "UV Ultraviolet Sanitation System" are printed on a black label on the front of the units. "Trident Series 2 Ultraviolet Water Treatment System" and a series of letters for the date code are printed on a silver sticker on the units. They are plumbed into the pool's water circulation pipes and plugged in or hard-wired into an electrical system. The pool's water runs through the unit and is sanitized by ultraviolet lamps. This is a secondary sanitation system used in conjunction with chemical sanitizers such as chlorine or bromine. "Trident UV II" or "Series 2 Trident Ultraviolet Corporation UV Sanitation System" is printed on a black label on the front of the units. In addition, a silver sticker on the units has the following wording "Paramount Series 2 Ultraviolet Pool Sanitizer System," "Trident Series 2 Ultraviolet Water Treatment System" or "Trident Ultra UV Series 2 Water Treatment System" and a date code of 9/9/2013 or later. The recalled black rubber high pressure air hose is used with submersible pressure gauges and dive computers. The hose has silver fittings on both ends and "5000 PSIG PRESSURE TESTED - MADE IN THE U.S.A," the batch code "1812" and the product code are printed on it. The hoses were sold separately and as a component of the Cobra, Cobra 3, SM-36 model pressure gauge and gauge combos, and with the Vyper and Zoop model dive computers or analog pressure gauges when purchased as combos. The recalled magnetic gate latches are 10" or 20" models in black or white. They are marked with the "Trident" name and image on the face of the latch body below the key hole. The latch body, which is typically attached to a fence post, contains a knob and a key cylinder on the uppermost portion and a recessed area on the bottom portion designed to engage and retain the striker. The striker, which contains the magnet, is typically attached to the active gate portion of a fence gate assembly, and moves with the gate as it is opened and closed. This recall involves the standard size H2 Hydra Series Binding. The binding mounts on the twintip style kiteboards and is used to connect the rider by his feet to the board. The H2 binding is blue and black and has dual adjusting straps with 'Cabrinha' and 'H2' on the footstrap. The product was manufactured in June and July 2013. The H2 binding comes in two sizes: standard and small. The product code is KB4H2BDSL which is found on the retail packaging. Read more.
The recall includes Hollis brand DG03 dive computers with serial numbers 100 through 1142 that may be used with integrated transmitters that monitor tank pressure. The round black 2-1/2 inch diameter computer has a digital screen and is worn on the diver's wrist like a watch. The name of the product, Hollis DG03, is printed on the front of the unit and the serial number is printed on the back of the unit. These computers allow scuba divers to measure the time and depth of a dive. Only dive computers with software labeled Revision 1A, viewed on the computer's display are included in the recall.
