February 9, 2023 English Riding Supply Recalls Ovation Protege Equestrian Helmets Due to Impact Injury Hazard

This recall involves Ovation Protégé model equestrian helmets manufactured from December 2020 through December 2022 and sold in multiple colors and finishes. The Ovation Protégé is an equestrian helmet that is certified by the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) to the ASTM F1163-15 standard. An SEI certification label, which includes the model name and date of manufacture, is located inside the helmets. "OV" is printed on the front of the helmets. Read more.

February 9, 2023 BRP Recalls Side-By-Side Vehicles Due to Fire Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves certain BRP Model Year 2023 Can-Am Commander, Defender, Maverick Trail and Sport series side-by-side vehicles. The vehicles were sold in a variety of colors. Can-Am and the model name are printed on the side panels of the vehicles. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is printed on a label under the glove box. Read more.

January 19, 2023 Sakar International Recalls Multi-Purpose Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury

This recall involves three helmet models from Sakar International; Tony Hawk, Credhedz Lizard and Crayola Dry-Erase helmets. Tony Hawk multi-purpose helmets were sold in various colors and have black straps and a black buckle. The white warning label on the inside of the helmet contains one of the following item numbers on the top right corner: AGE251TH-GCRM, AGE251TH-NCRM, AGE251TH-BKMT, AGE251TH-BLU-T30-12, AGE251TH-RBW, AGE22SLDTH-BLK, or ACTGEAR242TH-GRN. Credhedz Lizard multi-purpose helmets are black with a green plastic lizard on the top of the helmet and have black straps and a black buckle. The white warning label on the inside of the helmet contains Item No. ACTGEAR241-LIZ on the top right corner. Crayola Dry-Erase multi-purpose helmets are white and have black straps and a black buckle and are sold with a five pack of markers. January 12, 2023 American Honda Expands Recall of Honda Talon 1000 ROVs Due to Crash and Injury Hazards

This recall expansion involves an additional 2,000 2021 model year Honda Talon 1000 side-by-sides with model numbers Talon 1000 S2 and Talon 1000 S4. The vehicles were sold in various colors including red, blue, green, gray and yellow. "HONDA" is printed on the front, sides and the rear of each vehicle. "Talon" is printed on a label located on both sides of the vehicle. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) number is stamped on the frame on the left side under the left front fender. This recall involves Salsa Cowchipper, Salsa Cowbell, Whisky No.9 12F, and Whisky No.9 24F carbon handlebars. The model name is printed on the handlebar. The recalled handlebars were also sold with the Salsa Cutthroat, Warbird, and Warroad bikes. The bicycle model name is printed on the bicycle frame. This recall involves certain vehicle identification numbers (VINs) of Model Year 2020-2023 Sportsman 1000 S and Scrambler 1000 S ATVs. The recalled ATVs were sold in the following colors: black, orange, gray, blue and graphite. POLARIS is stamped on the front grille and POLARIS and Sportsman or Scrambler are printed on the sides of the vehicles. The model name, including "XP" is also printed on the side of the chassis.
