October 11, 2012 ElliptiGO Recalls Elliptical Cycles Due to Fall Hazard

The ElliptiGO 11R is an outdoor elliptical cycle used by adults for exercise. It is a scooter-like device that combines an elliptical trainer with a bicycle. The ElliptiGO 11R has an aluminum frame, carbon-fiber drive arms, two 20" spoked-wheels, an 11-speed internally geared hub, front and rear brakes and adjustable height steering column. Only ElliptiGo 11R cycles with serial numbers that range from 12-003-069 through 12-020-035 are included in the recall. The serial number is located underneath the product to the rear of where the kickstand attaches to the frame. The cycles are matte black with white markings and the words ElliptiGO on the frame. October 2, 2012 Kubota Recalls Off-Road Utility Vehicles Due to Carbon Monoxide Hazard

The recalled vehicle is the Kubota RTV500 with cab. It is a 4x4 utility vehicle with side-by-side seating for two people, a small cargo bed and an optional cab. The vehicle is gasoline-powered and available in the colors orange or camouflage. The model number "RTV500" is on the doors of the vehicle. "Kubota" and "4x4" are on the outside of the cargo bed. October 2, 2012 Fitness Anywhere Recalls Early Model Suspension Trainer Devices Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves older model "Professional" (P1) and "Tactical" (T1) TRX Suspension Trainer devices manufactured between January 2006 and July 2007. The recalled products' anchor straps are yellow or khaki nylon with a carabiner at the top end and a black nylon loop on the bottom end. A black and yellow or black and khaki nylon strap is threaded through the black nylon loop on the anchor strap to form a "Y." On each side of the "Y," the strap has a cam buckle, which is used to adjust the length of the straps. Each end of the "Y" strap has a foam-covered hand grip and a foot cradle. The recalled devices have hand grips with no end bumpers, which are black plastic caps covering the ends and preventing the plastic under the foam from being exposed. They do not have an extra nylon loop, called a locking loop, attached at the point where the anchor strap and the "Y" straps are joined and designed to limit the slippage of the straps. The recalled products also have badges on the straps with the TRX logo and the word "Professional" (for P1 devices) or "Tactical" (for T1 devices) on them. September 27, 2012 Cyclone Swing Seats Recalled by ADS Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves green, blue or yellow plastic, disc-shaped Cyclone swing seats. The swings are about 12 inches in diameter and have a cone-shaped plastic piece in the middle to hold the swing's rope. Only swings with date codes "2012 5 18" through "2012 6 25" stamped on the underside in black are included in this recall. Read more.


September 27, 2012 Atomic Aquatics Recalls Cobalt Dive Computer Due to Impact and Drowning Hazard

This recall involves Atomic Aquatics brand Cobalt dive computers. These handheld, console-style dive computers have LCD screens and four magnetic control buttons located below the screen. A fitting at the bottom of the computer connects to the high pressure hose of a scuba diving regulator. The name Atomic Aquatics logo is imprinted on the front of the console, below the screen. The recalled products can be identified by the manufacture dates, which are determined by the first four numbers of the serial number with the first 2 digits signifying the week of manufacture (01 through 52) and the second 2 digits signifying the year of manufacture (10, 11 or 12). The dates of manufacture are between May 31, 2010 and April 16, 2012. Serial numbers, 2210-XXXX through 1612-XXXX, can be found by scrolling to the "System Info" screen on the computer. Read more.

This recall involves Wilson & Fisher log-style swing sets sold in a natural wood finish. The swing’s two-person bench seat is suspended between two wooden A-frame supports. Assembly instructions sold with the swings have item number JY1107 and SKU number 210020400 printed on the sheet. Read more.


September 25, 2012 Specialized Bicycle Components Recalls Bicycles Due to Fall and Injury Hazards

This recall involves some 2008 and 2009 models women's and men's Globe model bicycles. Recalled models include the Globe Elite, Globe Sport, Globe Sport Disc, Globe Centrum Comp, Globe Centrum Elite, Globe City 6, Globe Vienna 3, Globe Vienna 3 Disc, Globe Vienna 4, Globe Vienna Deluxe 3, Globe Vienna Deluxe 4, Globe Vienna Deluxe 5 and Globe Vienna Deluxe 6 bicycles. The bicycles were sold in various colors, including gun, silver, black, khaki, navy, bone, blue, charcoal, burgundy and gold. The brand name "Specialized" is on the lower frame tube and the model name is on various locations on the bicycle frame. Read more.

The recalled Shorea wood hammock stands are natural colored with an arc-shaped holder standing perpendicular to two base pieces. The stand is 14.5 feet long, 5 feet wide and 4.25 feet high. August 30, 2012 Shimano Recalls to Repair PRO VIBE Bicycle Handlebars Due to a Fall Hazard

The recalled bicycle handlebars, intended for high-end road racing bikes, are compact and drop-shaped . The handlebars are sold separately and they have two labels with "Pro Vibe" logo directly printed on them. The model number appears on the bar code sticker on the packaging and serial numbers are printed on a label inside the tube of the handlebar. The recalled model numbers are: PRHA0099, PRHA0102, PRHA0103, PRHA0105 and PRHA0106. The affected serial codes are: JE028ZG, JE101ZG, JE106ZG, JF081ZG, JF102ZG, JG048ZG, JH006ZG and JH077ZG.
