Trim Assembly Kits for Recessed Light Fixtures Recalled By Prescolite Inc. Due to Risk of Falling Parts

Trim assembly kits involved in this recall attach to recessed light fixtures installed primarily in bathroom ceilings. The trim assemblies include a 7 3/4-inch white plastic ring, a glass lens and a metal reflector. Affected models were made in China and have model numbers: TL60 and TL62. The model number and country of manufacture are located on a sticker attached to the inside and outside of the reflector. Models made in Mexico are not included this recall. Read more.

Regal Lager Inc. Recall to Repair Strollers Due to Abrasion Hazard

This recall involves the e3 Buggy which is a three-wheeled stroller with a black steel tubing frame. It is sold in a variety of fabric colors. An additional seat, known as a "Doubles Kit," can be added directly behind the main stroller's seat allowing a second child to ride in the stroller. This seat can either be added on top of the stroller's frame or attached on top of the rear axle in the lower position. When used in the lower position, a seated child can reach the wheels. These DEWALT cut-out tools are yellow and black, and have model number DW660 written on their nameplate, which is located on the body of the unit. The recalled tools were manufactured between January 2006 and September 2006, and have date codes ranging from 200601 to 200639. The date code also is located on the tool's nameplate. Nintendo of America Initiates Replacement Program for Wrist Straps Used with Controllers for the Wii Video Game System

The wrist straps are sold with Nintendo's Wii video game system (pronounced "we"). Its controller, called the Wii Remote, is shaped like a TV remote. Sensors determine the Wii Remote's position in 3-D space, which means that a tennis swing, for example, is done through movement of a consumer's hand rather than by just fingers and thumbs. The cords on the wrist straps included in this program are 0.6mm in diameter. The replacement cords are 1.0 mm in diameter (see photo below). Read more.

Square D Recalls Safety Switches Due to Shock or Electrocution Hazard

The recall includes General Duty 30 and 60 ampere, 240 volt, 1 phase and 3 phase NEMA 3R safety switches. The switches are typically used to control the flow of electricity to outdoor motorized units that are hardwired to a household or business' electrical system such as outdoor air conditioning and heating (HVAC) equipment. The switches contain "ON" and "OFF" positions. The "OFF" position is designed to cut the flow of electricity to an outdoor motorized unit to protect the person who is servicing the unit.
