The girls’ ruffle vests are quilted and “chalk” colored with a hood trimmed in fake fur. The vests have a label sewn to the inside side seam of the lining with number #587754 printed on it. Read more.


October 19, 2010 Infant's Overalls Recalled by Lollytogs Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves infants' Carhartt® overalls with style numbers GG8500 (100% cotton canvas) and GG8501 (100% cotton knit). The overalls were sold in brown or red in infant sizes 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months. The Carhartt logo is sewn on the front of the garment and the style numbers can be found on the sewn-in label hanging from the sleeve. Read more.


June 17, 2010 Infant Apparel Recalled by Kiwi Industries Due to Choking Hazard

The onesies and rompers were sold in eight colors and prints: eggplant with kiwi green binding, floral print with eggplant binding, kiwi green with eggplant binding, pacific blue with kiwi green binding, crisscross print and kiwi green with pacific blue binding. The onesies were sold in sizes 0 to 3 months up to 12 to 18 months. The rompers were sold in sizes 0 to 3 months up to 18 to 24 months. “Kiwi industries” is printed on a tag sewn inside the garment’s collar. Read more.

May 7, 2010 Girls' Vests with Drawstrings Recalled by MIM-PI USA Due to Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves girls’ hooded sleeveless vests with drawstrings sold in sizes 2 through 10. The vests were sold in two colors: blue with pink flowers and black with white polka dots. Both styles have a fake fur trim around the hood and a black sweater-like knit trim at the armholes and waist. The vests have an interior zipper covered by an exterior flap closure and a sewn-in neck tag that reads “mim-pi.” Read more.

This recall involves the Jewel girls’ zippered, hooded sweatshirts with style number J2184SK. The sweatshirts come in red or white and have small gold and silver hearts with arrows printed on them. The style number is printed on the tag that is sewn on the inside seam of the sweatshirts and “Jewel” is printed on the neck tag. The hooded sweaters were sold as part of a 3-piece set with knit shirt and corduroy pants. The girls’ acrylic sweater has flower appliqués and embroidery. A Young Hearts label in the neck seam has RN# 16435. The sweaters were sold in sizes 2-4T and 4-6X. Read more.


February 18, 2010 Children's Hooded Jackets Sold Exclusively at Burlington Coat Factory Recalled by Franshaw Due to Strangulation Hazard

This recall involves Blue Heart and Just a Girl brand children’s sweatshirts. The Blue Heart sweatshirts are olive and pink, and have style number 48052. The Just a Girl sweatshirts were sold in light blue, and have style number 48052. RN 87888 is printed in the center of the back neck. The sweatshirts were sold in sizes 4 to 6X. Read more.
