February 9, 2010 Innovage LLC Recalls Discovery Kids Lamps Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves the Discovery Kids™ Animated Marine Lamp with model number 1627121 or 1628626 and the Animated Safari Lamp with model number 1627124 or 1628626.All models have batch numbers beginning with “2”. The decorative lamps are silver in color and feature rotating films with marine or safari scenes. “Discovery Kids” is printed on the front top left corner. The batch number is an 11 digit number located on the bottom of each unit. The model number can be found on the bottom of the packaging. Read more.

This recall involves Rockler LED lights with either an interchangeable spotlight head or a magnifying head. Models included in the recall have stock numbers 26429 (spotlight or 27017 (magnifying). Stock numbers are printed on the light’s packaging. Read more.



October 20, 2009 Wincraft Inc. Recalls Sports Themed Lamps Due to Fire, Burn and Shock Hazards

The recalled lamps feature logos from a professional or college sports team and rotate 360° so that the logo can be easily seen. Lamps feature team logos from the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAA and NASCAR. The lamps have a black base with a light. The lamps measure about 6 inches wide and 13 inches high. Read more.


July 1, 2009 Lamps Recalled by LTD Commodities LLC, ABC Distributing and the Lakeside Collection Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled ionic salt lamp varies in color from light to dark red and is attached to a wood base. The lamp fixture comes with a 10 watt bulb and a black cord with an inline on/off switch. The UL file number E216832 will be printed on the cord and the UL file number E214389 on the plug. Read more.



October 9, 2007 Fluorescent Ceiling Light Fixtures Sold Exclusively at Home Depot Recalled by Lithonia Lighting Due to Shock Hazard

The recall involves the Lithonia Lighting Nickel End Wrap fluorescent ceiling light fixtures model number “New 2 32 120 RE BN” and date code “N050807”. The light fixtures measure four feet long and consist of two brushed nickel end caps and a clear plastic cover for the fluorescent tubes. “Lithonia Lighting”, the model number, and the date code can be found on the shipping box or on a label located inside the fixture, next to the fluorescent tube. To read the label on the fixture, consumers should turn the power off at the home’s circuit breaker and remove the plastic cover of the light fixture. Light fixtures sold in a box marked with a round pink sticker are not included in this recall. Read more.

The recalled table lamps include model numbers 6037, 6038, 6039, 6040, 6043, 6044, 6045, 6046, 6047, 6048, 6632, 6633, 6685, 6913, and 6954.
