May 23, 2006 Light Fixtures Recalled After Reports of Units Falling

The recalled lighting fixtures are designed for areas that require low mounting heights and are used in parking garages, stairwells, entrances or aisles. The fixtures have a heavy-duty aluminum housing with either a white or a dark bronze finish and a glass lens. Their installed width is approximately 13 inches. The TGL and TGR series fixtures are not included in this recall, as these fixtures have a different mounting mechanism. Read more.


March 8, 2005 Lithonia Lighting Recall of Indoor HID Light Fixtures

These are Indoor HID light fixtures with acrylic lenses and/or reflectors. They are generally used in industrial and commercial locations such as retail spaces, warehouses, and gymnasiums. Only certain models of specific wattage lights are included in the recall. Check the Lithonia Web site for a list of the specific model and wattage combinations included. All recalled fixtures were manufactured in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and have a date of manufacture from November 2002 through October 2003. The models, wattages, city and date of manufacture, and “Lithonia” can be found on a label attached to the ballast housing. This recall also includes certain ballast repair kits. Read more.





August 11, 2004 OTT-LITE Technology Recall of "10,000 Lux Light Box" That Simulates Natural Sunlight

The recalled "10,000 Lux Light Box" produces light to simulate natural sunlight. The units, which are white with a translucent, hinged door, measure 24 inches high, 12 ½ inches wide, and 3 ¾ inches deep. Some of the recalled light boxes may have a small label on the top of the unit with the name "Nu-Yu Light." Only the "10,000 Lux Light Box" sold by Natural Options is recalled. Read more.
