June 13, 2007 RC2 Corp. Recalls Various Thomas & Friends™ Wooden Railway Toys Due to Lead Poisoning Hazard

The recall involves wooden vehicles, buildings and other train set components for young children listed in the chart below. The front of the packaging has the logo "Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway" on the upper left-hand corner. A manufacturing code may be located on the bottom of the product or inside the battery cover. Toys marked with codes containing "WJ" or "AZ" are not included in this recall. Read more.


June 7, 2007 First Birthday Party Hats Recalled by Creative Expressions Due to Choking Hazard

The paper party hats involved in this recall measure 6.5-inches high by 4.5-inches wide and are cone shaped. The blue paper hats have "1st" printed on the front and blue foil fringe glued to the bottom. Read more.


June 7, 2007 Personalized Infant Long Johns Recalled by Personal Creations Due to Choking Hazard

The recalled Baby Long Johns are red with snap fasteners down the front and along the legs. A personalized embroidery is stitched across the button-up back flap on the long johns. The long johns were sold in sizes 6, 12, 18 and 24 months. Read more.


June 7, 2007 Gemmy Industries Corp. Recalls Flashing Eyeball Toys Due to Chemical Hazard

The product is a plastic flashing eyeball toy filled with liquid. The model numbers of this product are: 27828, 27544 and 06470. The model number is found on the back of the packaging. The writing on the packaging reads, "FLASHING EVIL EYE," and "TRY ME!" Read more.


June 6, 2007 Simplicity Recalls Cribs Due to Fall, Entrapment and Choking Hazards

The recalled cribs are part of the Nursery-in-a-Box furniture set which also includes a changing table and clothing organizer. The cribs are cherry, white or natural in color. Only model numbers 8910 and 8050 with serial numbers 3005 HY through 0806 HY are included in this recall. The model and serial numbers are printed on an envelope permanently attached to the mattress support. "Simplicity," model and serial numbers are also printed on a label on the bottom rail of the headboard. Read more.


May 31, 2007 Children's Metal Jewelry Sold at Limited Too and Justice Stores Recalled by Tween Brands Due to Lead Poisoning Hazard

Some of the recalled necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and charms are metallic, multi-colored, and have "High School Musical" or pictures of "High School Musical" actors printed on them. Others have frogs, hearts, stars, dogs with dog bones, flowers, and monkeys that hang from silver, black or brown chains or cords. Read more.


May 31, 2007 Song Lin Industrial Inc. Recalls Cribs Due to Fall Hazard

The Sleigh Round Crib, model #2005, measures approximately 42 inches in diameter, is made of solid wood and comes in a mahogany finish. The crib has four posts that are 31 inches in height and a portion of the side of the crib can be raised and lowered. Read more.


May 30, 2007 Fisher-Price Rainforest Infant Swings Recalled Due to Entrapment Hazard

This recall involves Portable Rainforest Take Along Swings with a palm tree mobile and two hanging plush toys. The swings are approximately 23-inches-high and have two carry handles on the left and right sides. Model numbers K7203, K7192 and K7195 are included in the recall. Model numbers are located under the right handle on the swing. No other collection of Rainforest swings or products are included in this recall. Read more.


May 30, 2007 Toy Drums Recalled by The Boyds Collection Ltd. Due to Lead Poisoning Hazard

The recalled decorative toy drums are made of wood and come with two wooden drum sticks. The sides of the drums are painted blue with white stars and the tops and bottoms feature an antique U.S. flag decoration. The Eli's Small Drum measures 4 ¾ inches in diameter and 3 ½ inches tall. The Liberty's Large Drum measures 6 ¾ inches in diameter and 4 inches tall. The Eli's Small Drum has item number 654933 printed on its hangtag and packaging.
