Recalls: Bicycle Helmets

This recall involves Ovation Protégé model equestrian helmets manufactured from December 2020 through December 2022 and sold in multiple colors and finishes. The Ovation Protégé is an equestrian helmet that is certified by the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) to the ASTM F1163-15 standard. An SEI certification label, which includes the model name and date of manufacture, is located inside the helmets. "OV" is printed on the front of the helmets. Read more.

This recall involves three helmet models from Sakar International; Tony Hawk, Credhedz Lizard and Crayola Dry-Erase helmets. Tony Hawk multi-purpose helmets were sold in various colors and have black straps and a black buckle. The white warning label on the inside of the helmet contains one of the following item numbers on the top right corner: AGE251TH-GCRM, AGE251TH-NCRM, AGE251TH-BKMT, AGE251TH-BLU-T30-12, AGE251TH-RBW, AGE22SLDTH-BLK, or ACTGEAR242TH-GRN. Credhedz Lizard multi-purpose helmets are black with a green plastic lizard on the top of the helmet and have black straps and a black buckle. The white warning label on the inside of the helmet contains Item No. ACTGEAR241-LIZ on the top right corner. Crayola Dry-Erase multi-purpose helmets are white and have black straps and a black buckle and are sold with a five pack of markers. The white warning label on the inside of the helmet contains Item No. ACTGEAR242071 on the top right corner. Read more.

This recall involves Punisher Adult Cycling Helmets. The helmets were sold in multiple colors; white, black, red, blue, pink/black, green and orange. They have black straps and a black buckle. "Punisher" is printed on the sides of the helmet. A white label on the inside of the helmet contains the Ref/Lot# 2020TC015 or 2020TC025. Read more.

This recall involves Tony Hawk Silver Metallic multi-purpose helmets. The helmets are silver with black straps and a black buckle. Tony Hawk's signature is printed on the outside of the helmet. The white warning label on the inside of the helmet contains the Item No. AGE2515STH-SIL on the top right corner. These Tony Hawk Silver Metallic multi-purpose helmets were also provided as replacement helmets for Sarkar Dimensions Bluetooth Speaker Helmets in March 2022 and now themselves are being recalled. Sakar will contact consumers who received the replacement helmet as a remedy. Read more.

This recall involves the Ninebot Kids bike helmets. The helmets were sold in an orange/white exterior color and in size extra-small (XS), fitting head circumferences from about 19 ½ inches to 21½ inches. Ninebot is printed on the sides of the helmet. Model NB-410 is printed on a label on the inside of the helmet. The batch code and date can be found on a separate label on the inside of the helmet. Only helmets with batch code SN4500056024 and Date: August 2020 are included in this recall. Read more.

This recall involves Dimensions Bluetooth Speaker multi-purpose helmets. The helmets are black with black straps and a black buckle. The white label on the inside of the helmet contains the Item # ACTGEAR-238BTS in the bottom left corner. Read more.

This recall involves the ABUS ACM (MountZ) youth medium sized helmets with about a 21 inch circumference and attached chin strap. The recalled helmets were sold in velvet black and polar white colors. "ABUS" is printed on the left side, front and back of the helmets. The model ACM (MountZ) with the manufactured date of March 2020 or October 2020, is printed on a label on the inside of the helmet. Read more.

This recall involves the TurboSke Kids Toddler bike helmets. The recalled helmets were sold in size small (S), fitting head circumference from about 19 inches to 20 inches. The helmets were sold in lime green, mint blue, black, magenta pink, purple and orange colors. "TurboSke" is printed on the front and back of the helmet. The model FX010 is printed on a label on the inside of the helmet. Only size small helmets are included in this recall. Read more.

This recall involves Bee Free-branded children's multi-purpose helmets which can be used for multiple sports. The helmets were sold in size small, fitting head circumference from 48 cm to 53 cm (18.9 to 21.2 inches). The helmets were sold in yellow with black straps and black clip. Bee Free is printed on the back of the helmets. Model RPBFHYS is printed on a label on the inside of the helmet. S for small is printed on another label also on the inside of the helmet. This recall involves Any Volume's adult bicycle helmets. The recalled medium-sized helmets were sold in blue, green, pink, red, white and yellow. The helmets have black nylon fabric straps with white striped patterns in the center and a black plastic knob at the back of the helmet for adjusting the fitting. Read more.
