May 3, 2007 Small World Toys Recalls Children's Take-Apart Townhouse Toys; Detached Magnets Pose Aspiration and Intestinal Hazards

These wooden toys, for children ages "18+ months," are shaped like houses measuring 8.5 inches high by about 4.5 inches wide. They have nine pieces that children can disassemble and reassemble. Each house has a green chimney and a blue and yellow striped pillar with a purple base at each corner. The sides of the house have four removable panels of different shapes with red knobs that children use to pull the panels off. "IQ Preschool™" appears on the side of the house below the blue and green rectangular panel. Model number 2408808 appears on the packaging. Read more.


May 2, 2007 Target Recalls Anima Bamboo Collection Games Due to Lead Poisoning Hazard

This recall involves Anima-Bamboo Collection Games. The games contain 38 bamboo pads, four ghosts, and one dice. The product's packaging is an orange box with the words "Anima" and "BAMBOO Collection Games" are printed on each side. Read more.


May 2, 2007 Graco Children's Products Recalls to Replace Soft Blocks Towers on Activity Centers Due to Choking Hazard

The soft block tower is a stack of three different shaped stuffed fabric blocks in red, yellow and blue. Pictures of apples, fire engines, ducks, bananas, birds and blueberries on the blocks are covered in plastic film. The soft blocks are one of nine toys that snap onto the tray of the activity center. Only model number 4635BEE with serial numbers 012705 through 063005, which indicates the manufacture dates of January 27, 2005 through June 30, 2005, are included in this recall. April 11, 2007 Small World Toys Recalls Children's Wooden Sound Puzzles with Knobs for Choking Hazard

The recalled involves two separate wooden-knobbed puzzles that make sounds. "Sounds on the Farm" and "Sounds on the Go" puzzles were sold under the Puzzibilities and Ryan's Room brands. The wooden puzzles have four pieces in farm animal or vehicle shapes that make animal or motor sounds when the pieces are lifted by their knobs from the puzzle boards. "Sounds on the Farm" or "Sounds on the Go" is printed on the top left of the puzzle boards. "©2003 Small World Toys®" and the number 24101 or 24102 are printed at the bottom of the puzzles boards. April 5, 2007 Gemmy Industries Corp. Recalls Disney Plush Easter Baskets Sold at Wal-Mart Due to Choking Hazard

The product is a pink and purple plush Easter basket decorated with silver beads and ribbons. "Disney Princesses" is written on top of the basket. Pictures of the princesses are on the front of the basket. The basket measures about 10-inches high by 8-inches wide. Read more.


April 4, 2007 Target Recalls Activity Cart Toys Due to Choking Hazard

The recall involves Little Tree wooden activity cart toys. This is a multi-colored cart with an orange seat and a wooden tray. The cart has apple trees, a blue fence, and red, blue and green flowers painted on one side. The cart also has a wooden sheep, dog and horse affixed to that same side. April 4, 2007 OKK Trading Recalls Baby Dolls Due to Choking Hazard

This recall involves the "Lovely Baby" and "Happy Baby" plastic dolls. The dolls come in different sizes ranging from six to 11 inches tall. Some dolls come in a basket and have a baby bottle and some sing when pressed on the abdominal area. The packaging is a clear plastic bag sealed at the top with a cardboard label with the name "Lovely Baby" or "Happy Baby" printed on it. Read more.


March 28, 2007 Regent Products Corp. Recalls Stuffed Ball Toys Due to Lead Hazard

March 27, 2007 Estes-Cox Radio Control Airplanes with Lithium Polymer Batteries Recalled for Fire Hazard

This recall involves Sky Squadron Model 4153 (sold at RadioShack) and Sky Rangers Model 4161 (sold at Wal-Mart) radio controlled airplanes with rechargeable lithium batteries. The airplanes have a wingspan of about 18- to 20-inches and a polystyrene foam fuselage. Model 4153 is a blue Corsair single engine airplane with a Number 15 decal and a black and blue transmitter/charger. Model 4161 is a red twin engine plane with an all-black transmitter/charger.
