The NRS Sea Kayak Paddle Float is an inflatable device that is attached to one side of the paddle to help the kayaker re-enter the kayak in open water. The paddle float is yellow and black and measures 15" wide by 28" long, before inflation. The NRS logo is on one side. This recall involves those paddle floats with inflation tubes that are clear or translucent. Paddle floats with black tubes are not included. Read more.
The recall involves all 2004 and 2005 model year Fall Arrest Systems (FAS), or harnesses with "Model Year 2004" or "Model Year 2005" printed on a white Hunter's View label attached to the harness or the tree strap. The recall includes all model number harnesses sold during these years. The recall also includes replacement harnesses provided to consumers as a result of the previous recall. Read more.
The recall involves the Contact Hot and Cold Water Coolers with serial numbers beginning with the letter "J" and followed by nine digits. The serial number is located on the lower right-hand side of the serial plate. The model name - "Contact" - is written on the right-hand side of the serial plate. Read more.
The sit harnesses are worn around climber's waist and legs and attach to climbing ropes to protect climbers from falling. The harnesses have three buckles including one on the waist belt and one on each leg loop. "Edelweiss" is printed on the waist belt. Only harnesses using the para buckle system are included in this recall. Para buckle harnesses have a single bar installed in the center of each of the three buckles. Read more.
The recall involves the M34 BL Am'D Ball-Lock and M36 BL William Ball Lock carabiners with metal locking sleeves. Carabiners with batch number between 06076 and 06178 are included in the recall. The batch number is engraved on the spine of the carabiner. The recall does not include Ball Lock carabiners having a plastic locking sleeve. Read more.
All 2006 model Quechua branded tents (2-Seconds, 2-Seconds Air, 3-Seconds Air, T2, T3 Air, T4 Air, T6.2XL Air, T2 Ultralight Tents, T0 and T0+ canopies) sold in orange, red, blue, camouflage, or beige with SKU numbers 350808, 65196, 86813 146552, 146548, 100986, 351219, 370833, 531980, 531989, 65024, 90366, 90428, 567008, 567009, 567036, 567032, 370973, 22611, 566985, and 566992 are included in this recall. The SKU number can be found on the self-carry jacket. Quechua is printed on the exterior of the tent or canopy and on some of the carrying bags. Read more.
The recalled hammock stand is black steel, is foldable, and has two wheels. The item number, 226724, is printed on the box in which the hammock stand was sold, and on the instructions that were provided with the hammock stand. Read more.
These cable assemblies are used by wall climbers in auto-belay and auto-zip devices to prevent a climber from free-falling. The cable assemblies are made up of a stainless steel cable eye, and 1/4-inch galvanized wire rope. The recalled cable assemblies have a date codes 1-06, 2-06, or 3-06 etched onto the cable eye. Name of Product: Safety Harnesses Sold with Hunting Tree Stands Units: About 106,000 Distributor: Summit Treestands LLC, of Decatur, Ala. Hazard: The harnesses could fail during use, resulting in consumers falling from tree stands and suffering serious injuries or death. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description and Models: The harnesses are tan or light brown and were sold as an accessory with the following tree stands or ladders: Viper X5, Goliath X5, Razor X5, Summit 180 o, Bushmaster X5, Broadhead Backpacker, Bullet Backpacker, Clearshot, Openshot, and MegaSampson. Only harnesses with "Manufactured in 2005," and "Made in China" printed on a label on the harness tether are included in this recall.
