April 24, 2007 Coby Electronics Recalls Boomboxes Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled Coby boombox is a portable CD/MP3 player with an AM/FM radio. The USB feature allows it to be connected to a computer. The boombox is primarily white with silver-colored speakers. The word "COBY" is written on the front and "DIGITAL" is written on the top. The model number, "MP-CD475" also is written on the top. February 22, 2007 Best Buy Co. Inc. Recalls Remote Controls Used With Insignia DVD Players Due to Burn Hazard

June 7, 2006 Et�n Portable Radios Recalled, Batteries Pose Fire Hazard

The E1XM-model AM/FM/SW/XM-ready radios that are included in the recall have serial numbers from 3,067 through 5,642. The serial number is listed underneath the flap on the back of the unit. The Etón logo is located on the bottom left-hand corner of the unit. The XM radio logo and "e1" are written in the upper right corner of the radio. The recall involves battery packs used with the Mintek portable DVD players with a 7" (diagonal) screen and model number DVD-1710. "Mintek DVD-1710" is printed on the top and bottom of the unit.
