September 7, 2010 Subwoofer Speakers Recalled by Paradigm Electronics Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves subwoofer speakers sold as part of the Paradigm Cinema 70 CT 120 volt and Paradigm Cinema 70 CT 230 volt system. The speakers have a black finish and serial numbers beginning with 111028 and higher. The serial number is located on the amp panel on the back of the subwoofer. The speaker system includes two front speakers, two rear speakers, a center channel and subwoofer. Subwoofers with an amperage rating of 1.25A L 250 volt are not included in this recall. September 2, 2010 Toshiba Recalls T Series Notebook Computers Due to Burn Hazard

This recall involves certain Toshiba Satellite T135, Satellite T135D and Satellite Pro T130 notebook computer models. "Toshiba" is printed on the top of the notebook computer. The model name and number are printed on a label on the bottom of the notebook computers. Read more.

August 25, 2010 Television Wall Mounts Recalled by Milestone AV Technologies Due to Injury Hazard

This recall involves the Sanus Vision Mount model LF228-B1 wall mounts and Simplicity model SLF2. The wall mounts were sold for flat screen televisions. The model numbers can be found on the UL sticker on the wall plate. Read more.


August 10, 2010 Asurion Recalls Counterfeit BlackBerry-branded Batteries Due to Burn and Fire Hazards

This recall involves only BlackBerry®-branded batteries provided with refurbished Blackberry®-branded devices. The refurbished devices were sent to consumers by Asurion through a handset protection program. The batteries were used across virtually all models of refurbished BlackBerry devices distributed by Asurion prior to November 1, 2009. Genuine Blackberry-branded batteries are not included in this recall. No other Asurion or BlackBerry products are involved in this recall. Read more.


July 8, 2010 PDi Communications Recalls Televisions Installed in Healthcare Facilities Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves 26-inch and 32-inch wall-mounted LCD television sets that were installed in healthcare facilities, such as hospitals, medical centers and nursing homes. Model and serial number ranges included in this recall are listed in the chart below. The model number is printed on a label on the back of the television sets. The myPower ALL Plus External Laptop Battery is a universal rechargeable battery used to power laptop computers, MP3 players, mobile phones, DVD players and other portable devices. June 30, 2010 Sony Recalls VAIO Laptop Computers Due to Burn Hazard

The recalled products are VPCF11 Series and VPCCW2 Series notebook computers. The computers are available in many colors and have “VAIO” on the front outside panel. The model numbers can be found on the bottom of the computers. Read more.


June 29, 2010 Radio Systems Corporation Recalls Power Adapters Sold with PetSafe® Heated Wellness Sleepers Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves the Class 2 Transformers that were sold with PetSafe Heated Wellness Sleepers. The power adapters are identified by the markings "PLUG IN CLASS 2 TRANSFORMER," "MODEL NO: K12-800" and have a spring coil covering the length of the electrical wire that goes from the sleeper. Power adapters without spring coils are not affected by this recall. Read more.


May 21, 2010 HP Expands Recall of Notebook Computer Batteries Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled lithium-ion rechargeable batteries are used with various model series of HP and Compaq notebook computers.
