February 22, 2012 2GIG Technologies Recalls Modules Used In Go!Control Panels for Home Security Systems Due to Fire and Burn Hazard

The GSM radio module in the Go!Control Panel enables wireless communication between the home security system and alarm monitoring companies. The Go!Control panels are 6-inches high and 8.5-inches wide and are made of white plastic. The front of the control panel has a color touch screen display, a speaker and “emergency” and “home” buttons. A home security company name may also appear on the front of the panel. The recalled radio modules are a component used inside the Go!Control panels. A professional home security system installer can identify the recalled module. Consumers cannot identify the module safely. Read more.

February 2, 2012 Konica Minolta Recalls Printers Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves four desktop models of laser color printers: Magicolor 4750DN, Magicolor 3730DN, Bizhub C35 and Bizhub C35P. Model numbers are located on the plate attached to the side of the printer as well as the bottom of the front door. The printers are dark and light gray in color and have "Konica Minolta" printed on the top of the front door. Read more.

February 2, 2012 HP Recalls Fax Machines Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves HP Fax 1040 and 1050 models. The HP logo and the model number are printed on the front of the fax machine. The fax machines are dark gray and measure about 11 inches high x 14 1/2 inches wide. Read more.

February 1, 2012 The Container Store Recalls Brightly-Colored Power Strips Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves three designs of brightly-colored, six-outlet power strips with model number 8001-6 embossed on the back. Power strip designs include Pop Power Strip in Scroll (black with white scroll), Dot (blue with orange, white and lime green dots and a lime green cord), and Zebra (black and white zebra stripes). The power strips have three-foot power cords. "Lush Life® power strips by design" is printed on the product's packaging. Read more.

The battery packs were sold in voltages ranging between 2.4 and 18 volts in various sizes and shapes. November 30, 2011 Mophie Recalls iPod Touch Rechargeable External Battery Case Due to Burn Hazard

The recalled product is a Mophie Juice Pack Air rechargeable external battery which consists of a lithium polymer battery built into a plastic case designed to snap onto the back of an iPod Touch 4G music player. The battery cases come in black, blue or red. Only battery cases with serial numbers that have the first five alphanumeric characters of TR113 through TR120 are subject to this recall. November 30, 2011 Rocketfish Battery Case for iPhone 3G/3GS Recalled by Best Buy Due to Fire Hazard

This recall includes the Rocketfish™ Model RF-KL12 Mobile Battery Case. The battery case is made of black lightweight, soft-touch rubberized material designed to hold the phone securely, and comes with a built-in battery. The model number “RF-KL12” appears on the front of the product’s packaging, on the packaging barcode, and in white print on the curved inner surface of the product. Read more.

November 16, 2011 Columbia Sportswear Recalls Batteries Sold With Jackets Due To Fire Hazard

This recall involves battery packs that power heating systems in jackets. Two battery packs were included with the following Omni-Heat™ Electric jacket styles: Omni-Heat™ Electric Wader Widgeon, Omni-Heat™ Electric Big Game and Omni-Heat™ Gale Warning Interchange. The black battery packs are 3.25 inches long by 2.3 inches wide by 0.7 inches deep and marked with "Columbia" on the top and "OMNI-HEAT™" on the bottom of the pack. October 21, 2011 Electric Motion Systems, LLC Recalls Lithium-Poly Battery Pack Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled product is a black lithium-poly 37 volt, 10Ah battery used in electric bicycles and propulsion systems. The battery is 8.75 inches x 5.75 inches x 3.25 inches. “E+” appears on a label on the side of the battery. Recalled batteries have “EMS# 11819-101” at the top right of the label with a serial number between 10001 and 10200. The batteries were sold on their own and as part of the E+ Flex Kits.
