The recalled footrests are black and made of plastic. The Fellowes brand item #80309 can be found on the serial label at the bottom side of the footrest, which can be identified by Revision or letter “A” on the label, which appears after the date code. Read more.


December 30, 2009 Dehumidifiers Recalled by LG Electronics Tianjin Appliance Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

This recall involves 30 pint portable dehumidifiers sold under the brand names in the chart below. The dehumidifiers are white with a red shut-off button, controls for fan speed and humidity control and a front-loading water bucket. “Goldstar” or “Comfort-Aire” is printed on the front. The model and serial numbers are printed on the interior of the dehumidifiers and can be viewed after the water bucket is removed. Read more.


December 17, 2009 Home Depot Recalls Dehumidifiers Due to Fire and Burn Hazards

The dehumidifiers are beige, have four wheels, and measure 21 inches high, 13 ½ inches wide and 17 ½ inches long. “Hampton Bay” is printed on the front panel. Model HB-50 is being recalled. The model number is printed on the back interior panel. Read more.


December 8, 2009 Goodman Company Reannounces Recall of Air Conditioner/Heat Pump Units Due to Fire Hazard

The recall includes 5.0 kW Amana-brand, Comfort-Aire-brand and Century-brand Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner units with model numbers PTxxx3x50xx (Amana) and EKTxxx-150x (Comfort-Aire and Century) and serial numbers 0702112056 through 0804237539. The model and serial numbers are located on the control board plate found under the PTAC unit’s front cover. Read more.


September 22, 2009 Gas Boilers Recalled by Bosch Thermotechnology Corp. Due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Hazard

The recall involves the Buderus GB312 gas-fired, floor standing condensing boilers. Model numbers included in this recall are: 312/90, 312/120, 312/160, 312/200, 312/240 and 312/280. “BUDERUS GB312” is printed on the front of the boiler. The boilers are blue, approximately 60 inches high and between 39 and 55 inches wide. Read more.

July 21, 2009 Heating System Thermostats Recalled by OJ Electronics Due to Shock Hazard

The recall involves thermostats that have a built-in GFCI and are designed for use in under-floor heating systems. Thermostats included in the recall are connected to 208-Volt or 240-Volt power supplies (120V units are not included in the recall). They were sold under the brand names of Canisol, Danfoss, Elektra, Momento, OJ Microline, Raychem, Thermosoft, Warmly Yours and Warmup. The brand name is located on the front of the thermostat. July 9, 2009 Bosch Thermotechnology Recalls Boilers Due to Fire Hazard

The recalled Buderus GB142 is a gas-fired, wall-hung boiler. The boilers are white and designed to be mounted on walls. The black control drawer in the bottom center of the front of the boiler is marked “Buderus GB 142.” Boilers with a green sticker inside the control drawer are not included. The model numbers included in the recall are 142/24, 142/30, 142/45 and 142/60. Only models with date codes of 7246 through 7256 are included in the recall. The model number and date code are located on a label on the bottom left side of the boiler. Read more.
